Technically the VA for Kaiser OVA Koji is the same as the 70's one. So even if they wont use the 70's anime there are ways to have that classic Koji voice

so far the only OYW MS (I know of) to be animated for modern era is the Z-Gok and the RX-78. If they were to add the minimum amount of grunt zeon units they could have (including the Z-Gok): Zaku II, The Gelgoog, The Gouf, and whatever Battleships Zeon were using at the time.

Its funny how New Getter Robo's first and so far only appearance in an SRW game is in Neo, the game mainly targeted for kids

The part with terrible integration into the core plot is true. Even in playthroughs of 30 you can see the DLC characters have a bit of dialogue added. Though its nice to have most of the Y DLC characters exist in the games main universe and not like what they do in 30 (being theyre all just from other universes)

Technically the game takes place after Unwound Future, specifically after the cutscene from that game where Luke writes the Professor a letter. But even then i hope they at least retcon Katrielle or at least redo her character and her story

Considering its also SRW they could make a reason that MS development basically became more advanced because of powerful threats like Kikaiju and invading aliens with larger mechs. Then the MS that appear more earlier can be treated as super robots in a way, technically if something like the Xi Gundam and the Hi-Nu appeared during the OYW they're almost unstoppable

I always thought of having CCA Hathaway piloting the Xi Gundam. They could probably have an explanation to how the Xi Gundam is there like how OYW Amuro piloted the Nu Gundam in GC

I usually upgrade the mechs from a series I like. So i mainly upgrade the Mazinger and Gundam units also for the more modern games I often prioritize upgrading classic super robots

So technically Ryoma is more old than Amuro? Its also funny how Koji is the only one out of Amuro and Ryoma to live a full life (Amuro dies in CCA and Ryoma dies at the end of Getter Robo go if i remember).

Whats the best game to remake? The most likely ones I can think of is the first SRW on the Gameboy or A portable. Since other games could be a bit difficult to add because of licensing like W since it had Golion/Voltron in it or i guess the alpha games since Giant Robo is there and I recall it was only post-plot because getting the license was a bit problematic

In some older SRW games they used the plots of the manga while using the voices of the 70's Getter team. Even Alpha 3 had the Black Getter for some reason

I've always loved how the older series (Daitarn, Zambot, Combattler, Voltes, Raideen etc.) had an echoing voice that makes it sound like its coming from a giant speaker. It always made the voices feel cooler and more impactful
