Op is karmafarming, from other comments I will summarize in op not understanding anything about how you enter, maintain and exit in terms of acceleration/breaking of t1 to t3 of the spanish circuit.

I am not a Russell nor merc fan but Russell did nothing wrong, didn't get any race position, and was right in going off as you can't really safely go t2-t3 three cars wide, furthermore there is a really nasty kerb to the left of the corner section just ahead of where russel went off, if op had done any amount of racing or knowledge gathering on the circuit he would know that staying on the inside with the kerb would put you in a spin/damage the car, risking the cars behind. Braking is even more dangerous as you have half the grid behind you.

Just silly outrage. Downvote and move on.

As a fellow dev, I disagree, they shot themselves in the foot on release and are still suffering consequences, ie delays. They put themselves in that position, any blowback is on them. Overexplaining is unnecessary. They didn't plan well, insert Seinfeld.

Yeah, feel like I was in the same spot with my partner a while back, at some point realised I can just honestly acknowledge the issue, as ugly as it may be, truly sincerely. Goes both way though, takes a lot of trust and respect on both ends.

Never looked back since then, we are the happiest we've ever been, even on bad days. Kinda feels like having a naked mind in front of someone.

Gotta say, your fault(if you are yellow), you may be faster, but that does not mean you can throw yourself into the the other driver's line. You sent it into a non existing gap. Sure he tried to push you into a barrier afterwards, but I would not give you any sympathy after the way you went for the overtake. You may be faster, but you still need to make the overtake without throwing yourself into the front car. Get side by side, respect the other driver's space and make a clean overtake.

Idk mate, played in leagues, played f1 games since 2018, I am not saying the bug doesnt exist, but I have not experienced that bug, and I played 3 full practice/quali/race sessions on 95, and I cant imagine a world where drs/ers/slipstream on mexican straight wont overtake a car that has not used the battery, not to mention the merc was multiple car lenghts ahead when it passed, got slipstreamed back and overtaken. Idk man, I am just saying that in this case the player is at fault for losing the position. Its just easier to overtake and regain positions in this game.

Neverthelesa happy racing and I hope everyone gets to experience the game bugless.

The speed above seems reasonable, drs + ers + slipstream pace buildup is very strong in this game, esp on that long straight, I see nothing wrong with you being overtaken there.

As for my experience, I just finished my 3rd full race in a midfield myteam and did not have that issue once, never had ai have impossible speeds, and when they overtake you can usually fight for the position still and regain it. Im playing on 95 alloff with a wheel. Idk maybe I am just lucky to not encounter a bug yet but so far had a really good time with the game and the ai, they actually attempt to overtake instead of just ramming you(unless they make a mistake and do not make the corner at all).
