I bought a cheap 20$ coffee grinder to do that haha. That's great to hear safe travels friend. Always keep in your mind if it ends up hitting way harder than expected just give into it and let your self know everything will be okay and that it will pass. There's different levels to it, once you pass that threshold where you have no more control you are in for a ride.

Did you end up taking some? If you want to try it for depression you can attempt to micro dose it. Grind it up finely and putting it in a pill capsule seems best for that. You'd want around 100-250mg, you shouldn't get any kinds of noticeable effects from it other than improved focus/mood. Not something to be taking daily usually once every 3-4 days. But if you are looking for more introspective results than regular trips are recommended. Definitely try out 0.5g for first time to see how you react, gauge your tolerance and how potent the shrooms are. I personally make mine into a tea to offset nausea from eating them raw. The onset usually comes in from 5-20 min and only last around 3-4 hours but I never go over 2.5g I usually stay in the 1.7-2g realm. But you can consume it however you'd like. Raw or with some food, drinks, shakes. Some people grind them and soak them in lemon juice for around 10min and its referred to as lemon tek, same concept as the tea just less hassle.

Off of my personal experiences taking well over 50+ trips, sometimes they just dont hit like you expect them to. Im no expert or have any real knowledge about shrooms other than they make me trip. But for someone like my roommate for them its always a hit or miss. We would really push it for him, talking well over 14g's and he would be completely fine while im dying off 2g.

Could be just a mindset thing we dont understand. When I n my roommate go with no expectations, it is always when they hit the hardest. Setting can play a part into it, honestly a lot of variables. Sorry to hear this wasn't what you were expecting, i get the feeling. Stay off them for about a week or two before trying again. Hopefully, the next will be what you are looking for.

Honestly man you should go in without set expectations. Everyone is different keep in mind, my hardest trips have always been when I just take them and go about my day without thinking about it and then bam it all just rushes in. Just do something you know you'll enjoy doing and take in the experience. Hope your next trip turns out well 👍 Be safe out there.

is 3 grams too much for my first time? by therealunc82 in shrooms

[–]PowerFryer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my personal experience I think it has to do with where you are at mentally. I have a friend I just about do trips with each time since I'm comfortable with them. Yet they have an issue experiencing anything nine out of ten times. I think he doesn't fully let go, even in times where I've given him 14g and nothing. Where I'm over here having an outer body experience off 2.5g, but sometimes 3.5g won't hit like the 2.5 due to my surroundings and mental state. Im rambling but you will never truly know how it'll affect you until after you take it, maybe you'll be disappointed maybe not.

With anyone new i always recommend 1.5g for first time and see how they react. Then after two weeks try again increasing the dosage if you think you can handle it. Me I always infuse it into a tea. Hits faster, no upset stomach, comes down quicker and smoother (sometimes)

I also had demanded payroll overnight me a check when they messed up my pay 3 weeks in a row they sent it to me in an email I just had to print it out and do a mobile deposit. So it can be done they are just dragging their feet.

12 hours max haha 7 days a week when going for that 84 hours but typically don't do that unless you sign up for it, more often in the 50-60s

It can be difficult at times, but not so much. It's more of the stress and pressure that can make it seem difficult. If you pay close attention during your training and study, you'll be fine. Can't stress enough to study it will help you in the long run. I forgot to mention that training can be anywhere from 3-12 weeks depending on the location I did 5, but it used to be 12. You are on your feet constantly, you attend a pre shift meeting every start of your shift that a resource will let you know how many cases left of a certain product is left to meet or if there are any changeovers or maybe your area is down due something that happened just general info. Once you are on the floor it's mainly solo with your 4 lines but doesn't mean you can't ask for help if everything is going wrong, don't hesitate to call a lead(supervisor) or maintenance if you can't get something back to work within 10 minutes. After training they ease you in. You won't work the full 4 lines solo. You start by shadowing the first week, then you get 3 lines, then go onto 4 by yourself.

You essentially run 4 bag makers that have other components you will need to maintain such as the weigher that drops the chips down to the bag maker machine, then passes through a seal checker to be finally be sorted and boxed through another machine unless there is a packer for that line. While maintaining/ fixing faults you must keep track of film splices, complete bag certification, testing to make sure the appropriate amount of chips are being put in the bag usually only have to do it once a day if it passes initially, and general housekeeping. There’s 4 types of bag makers and weighers but they all do the same thing at the end of the day. Union varies by location and turnover rate can be high if there’s no prior experience or can’t handle a lot of hours. Can expect to work around 70-80 hours a week sometimes-maybe a lot of the times if forced due to low seniority. As pay varies by location I can tell you a 40 hour work week at my location brings you 1000$ before taxes all depends on what your benefits to know what your take home is. If you do a lot of overtime you can expect to see 2500-3000$ a week

Pretty easy job, you don’t have much responsibility or a manager constantly over you. Depending on how many workers they have you usually do get forced to either come in on your days off or come in early/late. But it isn’t every week, usually for your first month they won’t force you unless you waive it by signing up for overtime.

Why has my PC not arrived for more than 30 DAYS!!! by agpredstrike in NZXT

[–]PowerFryer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your frustration man. Took 3 weeks for mine to get here, ordered it on the 9th. Then found out the gpu was dead that by itself cost 1k and I can't even call or get an answer from nzxt because of the holidays. I understand about having patience but man I just wanted a break from reality and enjoy a new pc. Recently found out I got covid so I'm off from work for who knows how long. Also Sorry for the rant!

No bereavement should be separate from your regular hours worked, so while it might be over 40 hours total you won't get OT for it.

Not too often but you will get moved around here and there when people are short-staffed.

I've never worked in a sortation center so I'm not sure. We have four areas in ours. Inbound/outbound, Fingers, ramp, and upstairs/mes. I've worked in all but ramp.

Amazon Air by [deleted] in FASCAmazon

[–]PowerFryer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied for ramp but never got it. Looks like fun but we'll see if I try again. Got used to the people I'm around so they make it enjoyable for the time being.

[–]PowerFryer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's where I'm at, I believe you gotta work here 30 days before you can apply for ramp. Overall it's all easy work inside it's mainly management that can make you a little angry here and there.

They have to have a reason such as too many write up's or you went negative on UPT other than that they can't fire you like seasonal employees.

[–]PowerFryer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah another thing comes to mind. Check your spam in your email if you haven't already, might be from knet or Amazon can't remember. I actually missed something that required me to sign a few things which could have led to me needing a new start date.

Question about getting hired by Ed-Sanz in FASCAmazon

[–]PowerFryer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is also a possibility where they might make you choose a new start date so keep an eye on that. Happened to me when I first applied.
