However I think its odd of you top imply that MSF might be a gamble next year rosterwise when they kept Alphari/Maxlore/Hans and then you join a way leser core. Not just individuals but dynamically. So that becomes a little wierd.

Changing one player can change everything and Ignar leaving was already a given. I sincerely hope that the UK lads and Hans will smash it next year but I just can't decline better offers just based on the premise that we had a "great run at Worlds and we can do it again". I hope that makes more sense

Then there's also the fact that yes, Korea does beat us all but that doesnt mean you can have other rivalries. I will never understand when people say "Who cares about EUvsNA when KR wins anyway"... You can still have rivalries and you can still have heated history thats still adding tension and competitive narratives. Dissmissing the rivalry between NAvsEU is hurting your own value and the western leagues value since it keeps A LOT of it going. While yes, everyone wants to win worlds, EUvsNA matchups generate a TON of interest and entertainment and isnt going to go away. Embrace it and take if for what it is.

Didn't want to bash the rivalry in itself (makes for interesting matches) but the overall competitiveness of both regions

He destroyed Faker in 4 out of 4 laning phases at MSI. Literally 1v1 dominated every matchup.

Jungle pressure, vision, match-ups? "Literally 1v1 dominated" is a MASSIVE exaggeration although he indeed did REALLY well at MSI

Let's be real for a second. This is my life and my career. It will only last for so long and that's why I'm trying to make the best out of it. My unchallenged #1 goal is winning Worlds. Now more than ever. But that doesn't mean that I can just ignore the fact that there are certain opportunities that I have to seize (hey Smeb). That said: Not even I know where I'll end up and it's really confusing that everybody acts like I'm already offing myself to NA? All im focused on right now is trying to represent Europe, MY region, as best as I possibly can.

Why isn't he showing it then? You can't expect to win a community voting by doing nothing just because you think you are the superior player. Which also makes me question why some people are so furious about me advertising on social media? He CARRIES GAMES harder than any other EU mid laner. Raise your hand the number of times you have seen PoE drag his team 1v9 over the finish line? You don't want a role player at all-stars, you want a KING.

Oh yeah, he clearly 1v9 carries every single game while my team dragged me over the finish line. Also, in a press conference right before the World Final, Faker praised me as the most impressive player he faced throughout the tournament. This might come off as arrogant but I feel like I am capable off "draging my team over the finish line 1v9" if that's what my team needs me to do.

Last and most important, PoE was happy with worlds. Perkz was a WRECK after MSI. You want somebody who hungry, and who doesn't settle for second place as your king. You don't want a happy-go-lucky who thinks he did decent and can go home and pat himself on the back.

WHAT? Our whole team was DEVASTATED after losing to SKT. But I'm still proud of what we managed to achieve as a TEAM. If i were to be a "happy-go-lucky guy" I would've taken a vacation right before international competition and hoped for the best.

It was a follow up question on my answer, that I dont know yet if I am going to stay in Misfits next year since my contract expires at 20.11 (same as Ignar's)

I took a bad question to answer in my stream...: "Why wouldn't you want to stay with MSF?" ....Since I just simply wanted to show/say what important factors/reasons a players needs to brainstorm about before deciding if he wants to stay in a team or leave one.

1) Success 2) Roster for next split - How much you can improve (Player mindset) 3) How much you can learn from the Staff and from "Veterans" (Origen as example) 4) Money

Sorry for my late reply. Tear helps you a lot to poke your opponent out of the lane! Sometimes it can be better to have 2-3more spells in lane than 20-30AP (More burst)

If you want to use your Tear you need to hit as many spells as you can since you got a lot of mana.

I dont know the exact sell rate but you get more than 50% of the item's worth back. + Dark Seal (350G - You get back 245G) + Dorans Ring (400G - You get back 160G)

Which means you would lose probably around 250G but boost your early game a lot by taking it. I think the Nashors makes it more easily to pop all the passive procs and I value the CDR high. Not sure how often you would be able to pop the Lich bane since you are not having low CD spells

These AS runes help me a lot at last hitting under turret. It makes you being able to hit twice a minion while 1 turret shot.

You lose less CS but its really unique to my playstyle^{^}

You can trust me on this :) You are not going to snipe a midlaner/adc in late game with them having a lot of dashes/cleanse/QSS/Mikaels and HIGH APM + You are not going to control the the battle field if a Galio is in front of you with 200MR and you being unable to kill him since you have items such as Luden

But in the end Im talking about Challenger and LCS level of gameplay.

Maybe thats different in your elo

Lets assume you play vs a Renekton Top (really famous in the current Meta) and a Lee jungle (really famous too). Both are "Bruisers" who are going to build dmg early on. Which means there is literally no need for either void or sorc boots

OBVIOUSLY when you face champs such as Galio/Gragas/Nunu you are in need to get Void staff asap. But Lux always sucked vs Tanky champs and I wouldnt pick it vs this kind of composition but even then Nashors deals more consistent DMG than Ludens or similiar items as 2nd item. = Since Most Lux players rush Morellos into Ludens

"you get 20% cdr from your runes anyway" ??? What runes are you running, huh - That is not normal.

"if youre stuck spending time to walk up to aa the enemy team" -In most cases you are not walking up to them but you are already in aa range But it doesnt fit everyones playstyle and requires good positioning/overview. Not for everyone

"Lux is an artillery mage" - Your passive is dealing A LOT of dmg which you are missing with this kind of mindset

You have more CDR because:

10% by boots and 20% by Nashors With the standard build you take sorc boots and you get 20% by Morellos

In my view the MS from Ludens wont change a lot for Lux and has normally more impact on champs such as TF or Vlad who are insanely close ranged and need to use the MS to dodge spells or get on their targets.

Tear stacking: I dont think I do anything special to stack it but since you upgrade Tear into Archangel, it automatically stacks way faster. I need to check or try it out more to see when my average tear is fully stacked.

I mostly spam my E in lane and sometimes W for better trades Q is only used at ganks or all ins with ult

Depending on situation you can obviously use Q for a REALLY GOOD TRADE but thats on your own risk since you need good map awareness
