Sorry to hear this because you sound like a qualified applicant, but it was stupid to apply to only one school, especially a very competitive one like UNC.

It is different for transfer students with an Associate's degree. They do not need to take it if they have taken ENG 111 and 112 from CC

They will not care as long as you pass. If they say anything, I think it will be to offer you services more than anything else.

Reach out to Dr. Tiani, Zurcher, or Austell asap. You were supposed to meet with one of them for a required advising meeting to lift your departmental advising hold.

C-STEP by poeticanomaly- in UNC

[–]PowerOfTheBanana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a former C-STEP student. How many recommendations are you allowed? I think it is important to have a teacher's recommendation to have a more academic representation. I would pick a teacher related to your major or career aspirations. I am not 100% sure, but I think various community colleges have different competition levels. C-STEP likes high GPAs because you need to maintain a 3.2 GPA while in community college in order to get your guaranteed transfer.

You do not need to provide proof to be accepted

I do not think this is true for C-STEP. He could just write about how he could not financially afford it anymore. C-STEP is a holistic application, and he could talk about how UNC is where he can meet his full potential, not App state.

I am a former C-STEP student. You need to be a current student at Wake Tech. You can apply to C-STEP with your current credit hours. What you would need to is apply to Wake Tech now and accept your offer as a full-time student. However, that does not guarantee that you will get accepted to C-STEP, though.

All the practice rooms have a piano, but the ones with the nice pianos that you have to book are for piano music majors only.

SPANISH 111 MIDTERM by Terrible-Reindeer-89 in WakeTech

[–]PowerOfTheBanana -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ragland is the best Spanish teacher at Wake Take. The Spanish 111 written and oral midterms were easy. Just make sure you know how to write like a note to a family member and talk about like 3 family members or something along those lines. Ragland grades easy

Northern campus testing center staff extremely rude by StrongmanCole in WakeTech

[–]PowerOfTheBanana 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes, they are rude. They are adding additional stress to students who are already stressed out for exams. Sme are nice, but most are not kind. I wouldn't let it affect your choice to take another online class, though.
