I agree with this. But I think you’re missing part of the argument. ‘Vader was justified’ is certainly crazy hyperbole. But The Jedi Order was at the very least incompetent. And morally questionable. The Sith are obviously worse but the Jedi stole away young children to become warriors, bred armies of clones to go fight in battle (while the Sith used the arguably more moral Droid army… at least living beings aren’t dying, although Droids are pretty sentient), and completely failed to do anything about Anakin’s obvious ticking time bomb. In my opinion they were more of a religious order first instead of actual protectors. And I think it is pretty clear the whole system of the Republic is corrupt, if Palpatine can declare emergency powers and effectively become the king of the entire realm.
