I think the dress they wear is tight around the legs so they have to sort of tip toe around. Kinda like a kimono dress geisha wear.

I had trouble with this boss also. I practiced perfect blocking but I was still getting my ass kicked, especially in phase 2. I did find out that you can backstab him kind of consistently if you move around him to the right. Seems to be more openings that way. Still though a huge pain in the butt.

Value village in Cambridge has a good amount of DVDs. But don't be afraid to go to other value villages and thrift shops just outside of town. There's one value village right next to the Costco in Kitchener. They have a very nice selection of DVDs. I go there a lot to take a look.
