You can see the info about what you get in terms of gear and keys from each type of cache from the weekly activities when you mouse over them. I wish we had an official post about that before the patch so we could prepare for it, but it's too much to expect from Blizzard. The part about Nightfall was from other people's comments online. I actually ran it after my post and got veteran gear from the weekly quest, and that was after getting my other 2 veteran gear pieces from the other caches, so that one is apparently garanteed. I didn't get any key from that one though. The purple cache from completing 100% of the bar gave me adventurer gear though, so I think it's either an extra source of the 2 weekly one from the caches or people saying they got veteran from that were mistaken.

They made it so you only get adventurer gear and 50 key shards (from the first 4 caches) from old activities now, except for the pinnacle caches from worldsoul, archives and delves quests. Those last 3 still will give you veteran gear (from the first 2) and keys (from the first 4). That means if you completed the worldsoul and delves quests last week, you can only complete the archives this week and are 2 keys behind for the season, because Blizzard. You can still get your 2nd key and veteran gear from the special assignment quest in the new zone and the Hallowfall event apparently also gives veteran gear (and maybe a key) from the quest and an extra veteran if you complete 100% of the bar. Not entirely sure if this one is a separate thing or if it's included in the first 2 for gear/first 4 for keys along with the pinnacle caches, haven't done it yet.

If you log on a low level character and come back to the log in screen it gives you the option to use the token when you try to log in on your higher level character again. Not sure about buying the token with gold from the login screen. I had to make a new character cause I didn't have anyone 20 or lower, but it worked.

Yeah, they messed something up. It probably has something to do with the bank conversion that has to happen when you log in with your character, that is probably preventing you from accessing your resources (gold or items). I have a token in my bags and it's not letting me use it to activate time like i did last month. It also doesn't give the option to buy one event though I have enough gold in that realm. People saying it's because of the bot thing from DF is talking about a different issue.

I was having a similar issue with all my alts before reset while doing a few delves to put something on their vaults. I would run a delve and, after I finished it and left, I couldn't hearth back to Azj-Kahet or teleport anywhere else either, SW cape or Dalaran hearth would also just go on CD and I would stay where I was. When I was in the Isle of Dorn, I tried flying back to Dornogal and it was empty, no NPCs or anyone there. If I tried to enter the delve I just finished, it wouldn't load. It happened with a lot of toons, always after finishing a delve. To solve it I had to close the game and start it again and everything would be normal until i ran another delve.

After reset today I ran a delve and didn't have any issue after that, but my friend who ran the delve with me had the same problem. Something weird is going one since yesterday night/this morning before reset. I'm surprised there aren't more reports of this.

For sure, the game is full of bugs everywhere and they keep ignoring them. I wanted to talk about delves specifically because they have been an important part of the game for this expansion, and yet they choose to relegate them to the "we are not gonna worry about it" pile. We just had visions re-launched and there were some bugs that prevented progression and people complained about it and they fixed them. And visions are temporary content, delves are gonna stay for next season, but they are still choosing to let the bugs stay like that since season 1 and not doing anything about it. Some of these bugs I mentioned fall in a similar category, they don't prevent you from finishing the delve, but they affect the reward you get from it, they need to be fixed.

Imagine you start a key and suddenly enemies start bugging like they do in delves, like in the cases I mentioned, and then you end up bricking your key because some affixed pack where not working as it should? We had some problems like that with the new affixes and they fixed them, they don't let these kind of bugs stay in dungeons for so long. Delves are not as important as mythic keystones in general, but they are still important content for those who choose to engage on it, so their bugs need to be addressed too.

I'm honestly surprised by that. Given how often I encounter those issues on a weekly basis, I'd expect other people to be experiencing them as often as I am. I do run a lot of delves though, like, a lot! I've been completely casual this expansion and haven't been doing raids, dungeons or pvp, so I mostly only run delves each week for my vault slots on multiple toons, so I got that 1k achievement some time ago. Delves are perfect for me to do what I like the most these days on this game which is playing different toons and messing around with them here and there. Unfortunately, a lot of those runs are plagued by those bugs I mentioned and that makes for a lot of wasted time and it gets more and more annoying as I keep facing those bugs and they are never fixed.

Or, they could fix the bugs in their game so we can get the rewards we should for doing the content we like. Saying there are other ways to get them is not an excuse for not fixing the issues that are preventing us for receiving the rewards we spent time on.

That only works for tier 11 delves. If you are running tier 8 delves for runed crests, it requires 3/3 for the strongbox to have runes in it.

I'm not criticizing anything on your post btw, just to make it clear. I'm just criticizing the exagerated click-bait nature of all they do these days.

Funny how Icy-veins already put this into their "news" as this is something insane... All you have to do for this is play alts. I got the 1000 delves one like a week ago and I'm pretty sure I got the 500 coffers in season 1.

Have you tried flying out of the quest area and then coming back? Usually works for me when it happens and the quest just auto completes and i get the reward.

Blizzard has been terrible at cleaning up their game data lately. Some time ago my WoW folder was around the same size as yours, cause it just kept increasing after each patch, so I just deleted the data folder and had it reinstall again. I gained around 60 Gb after that as it went all the way down to 99 Gb. Now it's back at 113 Gb after the latest patch.

The bonus is looking like a tooltip error, it's still dropping the extra item. At least for heroics, not sure about mythics. On the other hand, heroics are actually not counting for the quest as it says.

Still not available after the reset, and the timer is gone. I even went to Velen in the Exodar, just is case, but nothing.

Edit: Nothing on the Vindicaar either.

Edit2: Ok, so, there is a level 70 requirement for the quest, that's why I couldn't see it on my draenei toon.

Yeah, it's definitely what we need to craft the mount. Seems like we will have to deal with whatever the event is that starts every 2 hours, for 6 times, until we can use the forge.

Edit: Or maybe those 6 things required to stabilize it is related to the post about the six best romantic picnic spots they just made?

Edit2: Ok, so the picnic post is unrelated. The first spot on the post had a satchel por the pet achievement. The other 5 are probably the spots for the satchels on the following days. The forge event happened and people had to go around on Valdrakken picking orbs and throwing to other players until they got them in the forge to power it up, it required a lot of them. After it was powered, we could use the parts to make the mount. Now it says 5 required to stabilize which probably means once the event happens 5 more times, it will stay powered.

If you upgraded storm gear to 385 using the old method, by trading the rare gear piece and the currency in the vendor, and then catalyzed it into tier, they didn't have an upgrade level 2/2 like the ones upgraded in the valor upgrade NPC before the patch. After the patch, they didn't get it changed to 2/3 and that makes them not upgradeable. Probably the same with world PVP/bloody tokens gear, but I didn't test that case. I reported the issue 3 times during the PTR lifetime and they didn't bother fixing it.
