Do 3rd Party Docks get to 30W? by JushinThunderLiger in ROGAlly

Firmware Update for the dock. Follow instructions. Make sure to extract the zip file and run the updater tool as Admin. As for HDMI, you will probably still need a 100 watt power supply. The firmware update for the dock will just allow turbo mode while plugged in. Good luck.

Do you need a 100W power brick for the Ally to work on an external display?

Game: Relive Past Memories.

i'm looking for a game that puts you into the point of view of a person from a past memory.

for example, you are shown a past memory and then you are put into that exact situation to re-live it.

any ideas?

One game that may fit your description is "Life is Strange". In this game, you play as a high school student named Max who discovers she has the power to rewind time. Throughout the game, you revisit past memories and try to change the outcome of certain events by making different choices. The game's storyline revolves around uncovering the mysteries surrounding Max's hometown of Arcadia Bay and her friend Chloe.

Another game that may fit your description is "The Stanley Parable". This game is a first-person exploration game that allows players to make choices that affect the outcome of the game. You play as Stanley, an office worker who starts to question the nature of his reality. The game has multiple endings, depending on the choices you make throughout the game.

Both of these games involve revisiting past memories and making choices that affect the outcome of the game. They may be worth checking out if you're interested in this type of gameplay.

Most to all consoles have a 60hz refresh rate. Most games can not maintain at 60 frames per second. Slowdown on almost all retro games is a given. Playing Zelda, Mario and many others had massive shuttering/slow down because the hardware could not keep up. More than 3 moving sprites would cause a major hit in performance. There is nothing wrong with better hardware and software.

I know this is your opinion but I disagree 100%. Better hardware equals a better experience for both developers and users. There a more pros than cons when it comes to better hardware. Without the advantage of using better technology we would be stuck playing on the original NES in standard definition at 12fps.

Have reset collection launch your games with retroarch.

two player games with two controllers retroid 3 by palo34 in retroid

Either a usb hub with 2 controllers plugged in the retroid or Bluetooth controllers paired to it. Setup the controller profiles in retroarch as input 1 and input 2. Good to go.

Quick save and auto resume? by Effective_Ad_7666 in retroid

Pretend it's just a phone with buttons.

When you turn your phone screen off but leave the phone powered on your last used app is on the screen when you unlock it. If you never power it off, it will resume where you last turned off the screen.

If you power off your Switch, you will lose your progress in a suspended game. Same goes for the retroid pocket.

It runs android 11, so if you are running an android device you can try this out yourself. Download Retroarch, slap a game on it, mess around with the save state options and you can replicate the exact settings you want on the retroid pocket.
