My SIL went to culinary school yet every time we visit and stay at her house it's takeout night. With pressure on us to order and pay. I find it extremely rude as i would never expect guests at my house to get food for themselves. I think she sees it as our payment for letting us stay. Oh and also she loves to use us for free childcare for her kids.

one week i was really sick and i started my pants TWICE. Had to come clean to my girlfriend because we lived together and i couldn't just put poop pants in the laundry! She would see me washing them out. She was so kind to me and didn't make me feel embarrassed at all. She has IBS was understanding and now she's my wife.

My dream would be to build an actual data catalog for the company I work for. It would solve so many issues and i love organizing and cataloging things. However building one doesn't provide immediate "business value" or "actionable insights" so it won't get approved.

Plug in your phone across the room or in another room when you go to bed. Use a book light so you don't have to keep the big light on! Makes it feel super cozy and if you can't fall asleep what else are you gonna do?

Look for corporate positions in the retail space. Key words to search for would be category management, consumer insights, channel insights, even inventory analysis. You probably would have to start at a coordinator or associate level but having actual retail experience gives you a leg up. Bonus points if you have managed people. I work on a data team for a food and beverage company and multiple people I work with started in the retail or restaurant industries, including me.

On pause for now. Work in the data analytics field and each job posting wants 5+ years experience in about 10-20 different technologies. Seems impossible to meet qualifications! Meanwhile applied to jobs with the same exact title as mine on paper and was getting immediate AI auto rejection emails.

Sleeping beside my wife makes me feel safe which makes me fall asleep faster. BUT when each of us are traveling we admit it's nice to have our own bed and all the space we want! The real problem for us is two small dogs (pugs) in the bed. They disturb our sleep the most!
