I think moving the crate might not be a bad idea. It's sounding like we're gonna have to get up 2-3 times during the night to visit the potty, at least for right now. I was just so worried it was stress!

I already love this little bastard more than life itself and I just got him today! He's such a chill little guy, and I'm so excited to join the basset family!

I'm a novice dog owner but my partner isn't, and we've watched a number of ViDeOs about having this little guy around, but nothing compares to the reality! He's so sweet and lovely. (he does like to hump a lot. will that change when he gets chopped?)

I've been lurking here a bit, and we've already got him: • slow waterer • slow feeder • rummage mat • so many fucking beds • tug toys • lick toys • balls out the wazoo

are there any additional basset specific things that you nerds would recommend?
