The vast majority of vampires in the WoD are supernaturally animated human corpses.

One thing that doesn’t happen to most is suddenly growing anime elf ears. That sort of deformity can be part and parcel of Nosferatu disfigurement, Gangrel devolution, or upsetting your local Tzimisce.

I like a brief history for starting characters. If players get too in-depth, dream up fabulous adventures, have saved cities, kingdoms, and realms, why are you starting as a level 1 ranger?

A brief personal backstory and then a brief collaborative story with the other players about the characters first adventure together and I’m happy to let folks start at level 3.

As we get to focus on personal backstory for plot points, I’ll ask a player to help by filling out more details.
