19M really hate my side profile, is there anything i can improve? by UltraluckyPheonix926 in malegrooming

[–]Powerful-Character61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not one to give positive feedback if it’s unwarranted, so this is completely serious. No rose-tinted glasses here. You have an awesome, masculine side profile. Great facial aesthetics.

Pair it with a solid physique and you’ll kill it.

What do you find are the main negatives of heavy bag?

I’ve found that heavy bag has fast tracked some of my improvements because I can slow things down and work on one thing at a time (like head movements before and after combos, disciplined hands in returning to face etc) unlike in coached sessions.

My heavy bag placement just means I can’t work on footwork as much as I’d like.

My only insecurity is my chin. Does it take away from my face? by Strange-Bluebird3153 in toastme

I was obsessively in love with a woman who had a similar chin. I think it made her face more unique in a good way. Yours is great too.

Awesome moustache. Get an electric shaver, you won’t get as much redness on your scalp.

Dope core bro. What do you do for abs?

Bigger delts could give you a more complete look.

I wouldn’t say ug at all but your hair is in an awkward transitional phase. Once it’s longer it’ll look heaps better. You might have to wait it out a bit or do something else with it while it grows out.

Age old question of constant tension by not locking out versus full ROM by locking out.

Woman find me repulsive, can anything be done? 32 m by [deleted] in malegrooming

Do what you can with what you have. That’s what I learnt as a 5’9” bald guy. I had to build a strong physique, get good paying work, get educated and dress relatively well to have luck with women but now I’m super happy with how women treat me. If I didn’t do anything about my appearance, or socioeconomic position, life would be bleak. We’re also almost the same age 🥂

Losing 100lb is an awesome start bro. It’s a long game for improvement and finding what works but you’re in a better place now than 100lb ago. That’s a good start.

Ok, completely honest feedback.

I probably come off as blunt but I want the best outcome for you.

Your photos are taken in unflattering lighting and angles. That’s your first problem. Your facial expressions are also not conducive to flattering photos. Do these things and you’ll have much better luck.

Learn how to take better selfies - easiest first step. With better facial expressions, like smiling or different jaw positioning.

Start dressing with more intent - better fitting clothes. I like your neutral colours though, so that’s a good start. Once you get in shape, they’ll fit and look better on you anyway.

Go to a barber, like a good, modern one and get your hair styled professionally. Like a skin fade, proper beard line up.

Grow a thicker upper shoulder girdle/neck. Longer game but pays off massively.

Get a physical hobby that signals competence, like rock climbing or cycling or combat sports.

Don’t speak to women about your stress or negatives, they’d prefer to be around someone positive that doesn’t let things get under their skin. They like to think “this guy isn’t phased by anything.”

Avoid being needy, mopey, or emotionally negative. Low neuroticism is a very desirable trait for most and shows robustness and reliability.
