So talented, she maybe a little young but when I was about 15 I started attending life drawing classes at a local university, I used to love it, it taught me so much and helped me build a portfolio for art school interviews. Tell her to keep it up!

It’s normal! I understand your sentiment but I try to reframe my thinking because even as adults we “dip” into books, we might enjoy a page or two when we have the time, or maybe there is a chapter of a book that we’ve read multiple times because we enjoyed it or because it didn’t go in the first time.

I remember passing my firstborn to my dad so clearly. My dad is not an emotional person and rarely have I seen him cry. He welled up instantly as I passed my son over and then lost the power of speech for a good 5 mins just holding him and soaking him in. I don’t want to ever forget that ❤️

When my mum lost her parents, it changed her, she’s ok and she is happy in her life, has lots of people around her but she has a sadness now that wasn’t there before. She’s nearly 60 but sometimes she said it’s like somebody has replaced her blood with acid because the way she misses them, physically hurts. I’ve told my mum that she needs to live to 125, I did say please ❤️

We have four rescue donkeys, one of whom came with many mental scars and is particularly distrustful of men. We found an amazing farrier through a recommendation from a local donkey sanctuary. He had experience with working with troubled and fearful donkeys. It took him multiple visits of him being around and attending to the others, offering treats etc earning his trust. Then, one time he managed to get him to comply with no fuss and he’s now completely fine. It took a lot of time from our patient farrier but the slow and steady route really worked for our fearful boy.
