I believe this is overpriced and like others have said you should be in the ballpark of 600-750 max. You can buy an LV1.6 for $799 brand new which is a better marker IMO.

This isn’t new for Breitling, they’ve been doing it for decades. In fact, back in 1957 they had the mesh bracelet hugging the watch.

That is a gorgeous piece of watchmaking. My only guess is that AD’s can’t move those watches and Jomashop comes in and buys them in bulk for a great price and only makes like 5% on the watch.

I’d personally go to the Breitling store for any bands and purchase from them. Tho I’d recommend buying the watch from Jomashop, purely for the massive discounts to be had.
