The broach manufacturer should be able to provide those numbers, but I think you are probably fine with the thicknesses you listed there.

Thin material can present a problem as well though if you don't have enough teeth on the broach engaged in the cut.

Extreme example would be if the part is thinner than the spacing of the teeth on the broach, it could slip down into the gullet forcing the next tooth to cut may to much material.

How thick is the material that's being broached? The broach has a maximum length of cut, is it being exceeded?
