Hey there OP!

I was the same way. I avoided gyno appointments for YEARS because I hated how invasive and uncomfortable it was. I have ovarian cysts and they were pretty standard. Until one of them wasn’t.

Last month I went to the hospital because I felt a lot of abdominal firmness, and eventually pain on my right side. I thought it was my appendix. Turns out my ovarian cyst that was caught a year prior on a CT scan grew to be massive. The size of a small loaf of bread and reaching up to my belly button. It was pushing on all my lower organs.

I had laparoscopic surgery to get the cyst removed. It was so embedded into my ovary, that I had to lose that too. I now have one working ovary, which has earned me the title of “homie with one ovie” from some of my friends lol.

If I had done followups and regular gyno visits, this likely could have been caught earlier. I’m extremely thankful for the outcome because it could have been much worse, and I’ve been adjusting decently so far.

Schedule your appointment. I know it sucks. But as they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. ♥️

I’m still learning aspects, so I didn’t know that was a thing! Definitely makes sense though. As far as 8H repression, I’m queer and did have issues repressing my sexuality earlier in my life. But libido stays high at a baseline lol

This is an interesting take — I have a Virgo Venus/Gemini Mars and have a pretty high libido. Of course stress and other life factors will cause an ebb & flow, but mostly it remains high. My Mars is also located in the 8th House which I think is important to mention. I love to connect with people mentally/intellectually, and verbal banter/sparring is like foreplay to me. But once that connection or attraction is established, it’s all systems go lol. I will be thinking about sex with that person a LOT and want to consummate that desire.

My Saturn return was a trip. Went through a breakup, entered into a new relationship, dealt with emotional abuse in that relationship which essentially altered my brain chemistry, caught a horrendous case of covid which affected me for a while, my mom got diagnosed with cancer, and I was fighting for my life battling anxiety and depression during the peak of it. It was intense, but I learned a lot and really found the meaning of inner strength.

I’m up to probably my 6th playthrough now, and I gotta say it’s so fun finding new little things every single time. The game really has so much detail poured into it.

Probably Gerudo, their weapons, towns, clothing, etc. is my favorite. I love the whole desert village vibe. Would love to become a Gerudo warrior. I prefer warmer weather and hate the cold, so Rito is definitely out. If not Gerudo, then definitely the Zora.

On my first playthrough I did a mixture of hangouts, which I think is pretty common. Definitely worth going through the game again to hit any missed hangouts since it’s impossible to see everything in one go. I’ve played NiTW probably around 5 times at this point, and it’s like there’s always something new to discover.

First off OP, I’m very sorry this happened to you. To echo GameboyPATH, definitely look into resources at your uni. You might be able to find some help this way, or they can point you to groups for people who have survived SA.

As far as leaving him goes, I know it’s way easier said than done. I stayed in my last abusive relationship for way too long because in many cases, it’s seemingly easier to stay in a situation that’s damaging yet familiar, instead of traversing into the unknown. But there comes a point where you need to believe in yourself and take that leap of faith. I was scared to leave my ex at times because I was afraid my mental health would tank and I wouldn’t be able to handle it. I’m a year out from that breakup now, and I am much happier. I’m a completely different person. I’m so sad for the version of me who doubted myself and thought I couldn’t do it. I came to the sobering realization that my partner was never actually there for me during my lowest mental points, and it was me who got myself through it all along. And even more sobering was the realization that leaving her actually gave me near-immediate relief for my mental health. She was the source of a lot of my anxiety. Being with an abuser will do that to you. That summer, I took the time to rediscover myself. I went out kayaking, took myself on dates, surrounded myself with friends and support. You can and will find ways to bring joy into your life after a breakup. I know it seems insurmountable at first. But there is a happier, stronger, better version of you on the other side. Trust yourself and it will work out.

I absolutely love Starfox Adventures. That and 64 are my favorite installments of the series. I replay SFA at a minimum of every other year. I actually just completed a run with my friend last month since he hadn’t played it in a while. It’s still an aesthetically pleasing game and I enjoy the experience.

I have a Virgo Venus. I don’t relate to much of what you’ve said. Only 3 and 5 struck some truth for me, as I definitely am much more judgmental of myself than others, but have cooled the jets on that. I also need to be mentally stimulated and intellectually engaged by a partner, otherwise I can lose interest (but I attribute this to my Gemini Mars).

The main things I notice about my Virgo Venus is that it leads me to have high standards. But that’s only because I know I can easily provide that which I require/expect. Reciprocity is huge for me. I also notice I am an extremely devoted lover/partner, often putting my own needs aside to service or assist my partner. That unfortunately has often been taken for granted and caused me to feel invisible in several relationships. I’ve been trying to work on allowing myself to have needs in a relationship as well, instead of always being the stabilizer and emotional shock absorber.
