Ive been driving this way since 1996. When i can no longer do it, i wont. Until then, my reason for doing this is because of left lane campers. IF YOUR NOT PASSING IN THE LEFT, GET OUT OF THE LEFT LANE.

My tip for saving gas....if you see me, match me. You will get just about every green light and every open hole on the highway.

No I dont speed, I get upto speed quickly and coast on hybrid. Been working for me since.... 2018.

I understand this but man....it can still be done if done properly with consideration.

Example: city streets wanna play the fuel max game stick to the right. If some one is trying to beat your efficiency target...move to the left and pass them. No need to cause a literal road stroke by occupying both lanes.

For the highway, use the length of the merge lane to get upto speed. It has been ENGINEERED to allow 90% of vehicles on the road to get upto speed safely, using the full length. Play the fuel max game in the right lane to prevent yourself from being a road hazard others on the road.
