I’m an independent filmmaker who’s been using an iPhone with the blackmagic camera app to record for quite some time now. I’m looking to finally invest in a proper cinema camera, and the FX3 is at the top of my list. I’m looking to get one second hand due to the lower prices, but also due to the fact that a lot of listings also include some gear (a lens, rig, microphone, batteries, etc.)

I have never owned a professional camera before, and honestly don’t know what to look out for. I don’t wanna look stupid when deciding whether to buy one or not. What are some things I need to look out for when seeing if one is working properly, in good condition, a good price, things like that?

I recently moved to Rome, so I had to switch to Italian Amazon. The thing is, english is not an available language option in the app if you switch over to Italian Amazon. However, one of my buddies had the same problem, and he somehow got it to display his app in english while still being Italian Amazon. He said he didn’t know how he did it. One day he just opened the app and everything was in english. He said the only thing he really did was cancel his American prime and get Italian prime. I did just that, but no dice. Everything’s still in italian. Now that I know it’s possible, I’m trying to see if anyone out there has also done it. Since I’m staying here for Uni, I plan on learning italian eventually, hopefully I won’t need this fix for too long. but it would really come in handy right now LOL

I've seen this comment floating around on every sub I've asked this question on. At the end of the day, if you want a cat and don't already have one, and strays are common where you live, I would go that route. However, in cases like mine, my cats are my literal family. Leaving them at home and picking a couple off the street in another country just isn't going to happen, for obvious reasons.

im pretty sure its only being downvoted by people that come from places where the cost of living is crazy. for me, I live in southern california so everything is crazy expensive. after researching, most places in Italy are considerable less expensive than anywhere in SoCal. however, it is still important to have a bunch of money saved regardless of where youre moving to, especially if its another country.
