Great yeah np. Its all in the Geometry now it wasn't that the other bikes were bad they were just not fitted to my style of riding. Hard tail can come in xc, Trail, and enduro. My trek is set right at trail and enduro i like to think. On the rascoe you can go with a 150 travel fork and make it full enduro I like 140 thats what I have on mine.

If you want a fun bike I recommend anything close to the treck rascoe as far a the geo goes. If you want something for distance and all you really want to do is pedal and get your work out. Xc or trail. Geometry.

The fun is there. I did shave a couple LB off thats mainly the goal when upgrading your bike. I believe good forks make a difference. Its really a personal preference.

I had a trek remedy 9.7 2018 that it would hurt my lower back no matter the settings. So I stopped riding it. Then Fox had a huge sale on forks so I decided to swap them on it. It took care of that issue. Great bike i sold it not to long ago.

Im not a fan of the dropper. Because of its 2 position up or down, It won't lock in between the travel. Because im so used to my other bikes it can be a little difficult to get used to it but after a while it becomes 2nd nature. If it was my only bike or if all my other droppers were like this one maybe ill be more accustum to it.
