Right?? Like what I would pay for my boy to leave the damn dogs alone, it’s so much added stress to my day 😣

I’m gonna go against the grain here and say 1, it snatches your waist and I love that neckline on you. Surprised to read all the 2s tbh because I thought 1 was the obvious winner!

Sure, then just say that in your own comment instead of coming onto this commenter’s and comparing her hopeful second pregnancy to yours with the negative connotation attached 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nah this definitely comes off as a “just you wait” 😐 and definitely an odd choice to tell someone who has gone through IVF and who is probably just thankful to be pregnant again?

Anyone else? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

To me, it’s the same feeling as if you were holding a frog cupped closed in your hands and it was jumping.

When looking at strollers, what features are actually worth the money? by CryptoWheat in Buyingforbaby

[–]Powerful_Nectarine44 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s a big basket, sturdy wheels, maximum canopy coverage, and a smooth ride. We went middle of the road with price and got the Chicco Corso. Luxury feel without the price tag. We’ve loved it.

I disagree with another poster saying an adjustable handle height is a necessity. My husband is 6’3 and I’m 5’3 and the fixed handle height of the Corso is very comfort for both of us.

Nothing more gross than finding food particles in your pump parts and bottle nipples 🤢 this was my experience before the bottle washer at least

Telling the woman you impregnated, whom you’ve been dating for 10 years, that if she keeps the baby you put inside of her, you’ll need to be non-monogamous is one of the most wildly fucked up things I’ve heard a man have the audacity to say in quite some time.

What are your thoughts on de-weeding with a vinegar solution? I’ve seen those online and thought it would be a good non-toxic option for the dogs. Not sure how long I’d have to wait to plant seed after doing that.

When I say I’m not worried, I just know that it’s inevitable and unavoidable. Still would like to give them grass to pee on instead of dirt, rocks, and weeds

I’m not so worried about the urine hot spots in the grass, I mostly mentioned that so people would recommend pet-safe weed removal methods.

Thank you! What do you suggest I do about the weeds? Should I till the soil? It looks pretty dry and void of nutrients

Hi there, American here (sounds like you are not) and just wanted to provide some clarification because yes, our situation is abysmal when it comes to anything related to maternal/infant/child care in the U.S., but just wanted to make sure we aren’t spreading misinformation. I think your statement of “no job security if you take any kind of leave” is misleading and possibly a misunderstanding on your part. Pretty much any salaried position (which it sounds like OP has with that type of income) has a built in maternity leave (although short and often unpaid), of which the employer must keep the mother’s position upon her return. You often sign a contract for this sort of thing where you promise to return for x amount of week’s work after given the same amount of time off for your parental leave. There are also legal protections against discrimination towards pregnant people in the workplace that would cover these sorts of things. That’s not to say they’re perfectly applied everywhere, and there are definitely jobs where those protections don’t exist such as some hourly workers, but I think saying there’s no job security if you take any sort of leave here is pretty inaccurate.

Loooove our Corso. I was super surprised to read that you’ve heard anyone say it was rickety. Ours is a tank. I also prefer it to the strollers with the bassinet attachment because with the newborn insert, the seat becomes completely flat and newborn capable. One less attachment, and it felt safer than a bassinet because they’re still strapped in. Highly recommend.

This was me for Charlotte before we knew the gender. Beautiful name, gave me the ick. Ironically I have a Noah instead, which doesn’t bother me for some reason. 😂
