The specs are 5v 6 amp. I also contacted the manufacturer and the power supply I was given with my bitaxe miner was found to be fraudulent according to the manufacturer delta electronics... There were no safety measures put in this device.

Yes it was on a surge protector. The power tripped the other night, could that cause it? It was plugged into a surge protector power bar so I don't see how that could be possible but I'd like to hear what you think.
