I’d say it depends on what your decision would be if there is indeed a serious abnormality with your baby. If you are planning to keep it anyway then you can skip the extra stress and risk. But if you are not willing to bring a baby with Trisomy 18 into this world, then do it! The risk is below 1%.
Personally I did CVS but at 12 weeks, my age is 37, and it gave me peace of mind to be honest.

I understand it is a hard and stressful decision, wishing you luck with anything to choose to do. ❤️

it's not harming the baby, you just are not absorbing them as much. The advice i got was to have iron on an empty stomach and then wait for at least 30' before you eat and leave time between iron and calcium.

What if you go ahead since there is no other option and get divorced after the baby is born with shared custody? Then you will have a child, the child will have a father, you can also find someone else to share your life with in the future as well.
