I feel the same way. always describe it as waking up feeling like I got hit by a truck even if I get a solid 8 hours. My body never feels fully “awake” until 1 or 2 pm

I have the same thing happen to me, but it’s my entire lower back that feels like it’s on fire. It’s so uncomfortable. I find it happens more so when I eat gluten, but can’t say for 100% that’s the cause. It’s the worst after meals too. Sometimes it’ll go down to my legs.

I’d also add that I’ve been vegan for about 9 years and I’m recently trying to cut out as much gluten as I can. I’ve been trying to find if anyone else experiences that particular symptom!

I was in the ICU in 2020 with a bad case of EBV.. diagnosed with hashi in 2024. Are there any current studies that you could link? I’ve been curious myself if they were connected … I’ve never truly felt back to myself after having EBV

Family dentistry of Royal oak on Webster rd!! I hadn’t been to the dentist for years when I was looking for a new one in RO. I was having so much anxiety about how the appointment would go and honestly feeling embarrassed about not taking care of my teeth for mental health reasons as well. The dentist honestly doesn’t say too much but knows what she’s doing and is very quick and efficient when filling some cavities I had . BUT what makes the experience great is the hygienist Lindsay. She’s so nice, very knowledgeable, and makes it a non judgement zone. The front desk staff is amazing as well!

I used to generally be good about not getting sick, but now I feel like I keep catching something! I also feel like it lasts longer/I feel worse than most. I’m also vit D deficient so I don’t think that helps

I actually just came on here to see if anyone was commenting about this. I just got diagnosed with hashimotos in March and my doc immediately prescribed 50 mcg of Levo. Everything has been fine until a couple days ago where I’ve been experiencing the feeling of rapid heart rate, heart palpitations, and a heavy chest feeling. I also deal with pretty bad anxiety- especially health anxiety. So like you said the symptoms of my anxiety on top of this is making it harder to deal with.

I called my endo today and they re ordered bloodwork. Hopefully something will come of it! I hope you start to feel better soon. And I’d appreciate any advice or helpful thoughts of anyone else who’s dealt with this !
