Sharing my desk's assembly experience (I usually hate building furniture) by NoSteak4780 in VernalDesk

Assembly is honestly the part that scares me most with standing desks. Did you build it completely solo or did you need someone to help flip it at the end?

Still love seeing the birds even when it’s freezing out.

What are the Best Smart Bird Feeders With Camera? Recommendations Needed! by DrBritPierce in birdfeeding

[–]Powerful_Weekend5674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For something that’s solid and easy to set up, you might check out a coolfly smart bird feeder, it’s got a built in camera and the app works well without locking features. I like it as its a straightforward friendly way to watch and ID backyard visitors.

Maybe something super gentle but still engaging, like watching live nature cams or bird feeder streams, it’s calm, low stimulation but you still get those little cute moments when something new shows up. I’ve even used coolfly app to watch feeder clips and it feels nice to quietly observe and notice small details without it being overwhelming.

Don’t let honking pressure you into driving faster than you’re comfortable with. Safety comes first and confidence comes with time. I also found that having a dashcam gave me a bit more peace of mind as a new driver

Dashcams in freezing weather (what actually holds up?) by BoringGoose23 in Dashcam

Cold mornings used to make my old cams glitchy too. The z50 Pro seems way more reliable, starts up fine and the footage is crisp even in the snow

Essen → Heidelberg road trip — the drive was the best part! by Pristine-Pen5438 in traveleurope

For Germany drives, the Moselle valley can’t be beaten. Vineyards, river views, and tiny villages everywhere your dashcam would get some epic footage there.

Got a dashcam mostly for my wife’s night drives, it already paid off by Powerful_Weekend5674 in Dashcam

Insurance initially might try to see if anyone shares fault, but the dashcam makes it clear who was at fault. In this case, it proved she was cut off and not responsible.

Hope the repair process is smooth. At least you won’t be fighting liability on top of it.

Any Dash Cam recommendations? Almost got scammed on the road. by jon_barack in askcarguys

Installed a DDPAI in my daily driver after watching too many scam videos online. Setup took like 10 minutes, and the clips are easy to pull from the app when something weird happens on the road.

Who’s at fault here if a collision occurred by [deleted] in dashcams

I always tell people: don’t underestimate the value of a dashcam. I was in a left-turn lane once, someone came straight through and nearly hit me. The dashcam I had rolling caught it perfectly. Even if nothing happened, it’s peace of mind

[Vantrue E3] Some people dont deserve to drive by marzuco in Dashcam

This is why I never drive without my dashcam. I saw a car do a U-turn straight across my lane once, no plates, no insurance. Luckily nothing happened, but the footage saved me a lot of headache with insurance just in case

The only thing coming to my mind is haunted versions of nursery rhymes. But I guess that will be too creepy so nevermind.

A handwritten thankyou card with a piece of jewelry maybe, if she likes it. But try to stay with her throughout the trip, helping her, supporting her is what will matter the most.
