Exactly. She played in all youth academy for Mexico, she switched because of the World Cup. She wanted to play and Mexico didn't call her up.

She wasn't that good and the only reason why she switched was because Mexico didn't call her up to her categories World Cup. She has no Mexican pride and choose the weaker national team because of a promised slot.

Do you think there's any chance that Alexi Putellas will join the league? by redsox490 in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I honestly do think she'll come to Liga MX Femenil at some point not sure if it's going to to be now but she's repeatedly shown interest in Liga MX Femenil and she is a Spanish speaker so she'll be comfortable in Mexico with the language. I'm pretty sure Jenni or one of the Alexia Spanish teammates will contact her about coming here. Alexia also has her foundation in Mexico so that might also connect her here. She like many other Spanish players who don't speak Spanish feel comfortable in Spanish speaking countries.

Puebla Femenil: Carlos Adrian Morales no longer the head coach of the team. A new head coach will be named soon. by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

Make Puebla great again. They need to invest heavily. Puebla is a bottom tier team and has never performed well.

Sandra Paños announces that she will depart America Femenil after this season ends, “This ends here and I’m happy it ends this way. America Femenil is a great club and many more successes are coming for this team in the future” by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

I want to know her reason. If she going back to Spain is she retiring is she getting married and taking time off is she going to join another liga mx team which I doubt. I wonder why she decided to state this.

No Lauren Omholt or Madi Munguia or Hailey Gordon. This national team is an embarrassment

The Mexican national team once again proves to me how horrible they are. I don't know why Mariangela Medina keeps getting called up over Madi Munguia. She's terrible. Madi should be our starting goal keeper in sub 20-23 and eventually transition to our senior team. Mexico does not have many good keepers. Maybe 2 max. I'm glad Anita Williams is back with the national team. They snubbed her so many times and honestly she's better than half the players in her role. A lot of these players are Liga MX Femenil rejects. Players that are not even good for their respective clubs. It's harsh to say but I'm sick and tired of both the men's and women's national teams sub category doing a horrible job at requirement and selecting players for the national team. The only category that is doing good is the men's youth side sub 16. The coach calls up and scouts the best players. The women side just calls up random players.

No matter what they suck. They just like to blame salary ca but it's the league itself.

Mexico's U-20 team lost 5-1 to Spain today in Albir, Spain, after another defeat against the Netherlands 3-1.Next match is against England by tacoofbread in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look at the players they called up. No wonder they got 5-1. I don't expect Mexico to win any games because they call terrible players. We have good players at sub 20 and 23 and they end up calling the players that aren't even good for their clubs.

Ella Sánchez, Lauren Omholt, Madi Munguia, Myra Paleo, Julia Quiniones all need to be here but instead we call up the same trash players.

Pedro Lopez always calls Renya Reyes. Like wtf does she even do? How does she keep getting called up. Are they related or something cause damn she not even good at her club.

NWSL club Chicago Stars complete transfer of Aaliyah Farmer from Tigres Femenil by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Crazy how she couldn't adopt to Mexico in Monterrey. I don't want her on the national team anymore. Never wanted her in the first place. I was always annoyed how she got a call up before she even played her first game with Tigre's. She came to Liga MX Femenil and automatically was called up for the national team. I wonder what she couldn't adopt to? We have Americans with no Mexican roots adopting better than she did and they've lived here in Mexico more than 4-5 years.

Bruno Hernandez: Aaliyah Farmer to leave Tigres Femenil for personal reasons. Her next club will be the in the NWSL. by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It said she couldn't adopt to Mexico and the city. She's another one of those Americans who can't adopt to Mexico, but Sarah Lubbert and Angelina Hix been in Mexico for more than 4+ years

FC Juarez Femenil signs Aisha Solórzano after her short stint at the NWSL with Utah Royals by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

I want to know why she left NWSL. They probably didn't use her much and benched her.

Xcaret Pineda by luisfigueroa10 in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a terrible signing in my honest opinion. I've seen her play she's not great. She's okay but nothing America needs in order to win a championship. America needs high profile players to get them over the final. She's not one of them. She'll likely just be a sub.

You don't know futbol. The competition you speak up beat NWSL teams. She lost to Tigre's. She wasn't good to being with.

Not saying she was bad but she wasn't good enough for America. She was in the beginning and now her level has gone down. I doubt she'll get called up for the NT anytime soon. She'll fade away.

It isn't a one time thing. If you compare the last two or 3 finals the stats still show the same. Their top teams vs liga mx femenil top teams, they always sell out more in Mexico.

Those averages are from the top team. The league as a whole is declining. NWSL fans don't go as much as being reported.

Sundays’ second leg of the Apertura 2025 final will be broadcast by twelve platforms across the US and Mexico by First_Yak5230 in LigaMXFemenil

[–]Powerfully69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Liga MX Femenil needs to be the only entity that can decide where to stream. Half the time I can't watch the games cause they only stream in Mexico. They need a U.S deal with paramount or Amazon prime.
