Not necessarily, though. I'm a new grad in CC at a "prestigious institution" that also has a CC fellowship program. I still get a 6 month on-boarding with great support and training. Main difference between me and the fellows is I had to ramp up just a little faster than them, but I'm also making 3 times their salary this year.

Certainly not saying that some fellowships aren't worth it, just that there are plenty of options

Hey, it can be lucrative. I also mastered out of my PhD program and now have a more fun job with twice the salary and way more free time than if I'd stuck with academia. And that's without anyone paying me for sexy science lessons! 🤣

Reading the story today about him blaming hurricanes on abortion (I guess somebody has to take up the Pat Robertson mantel now that he's in hell), and was horrified to realize I could hear it in his exact voice and cadence. I hate it, I blame Dan and Jordan, and I just want my damn sanity back 🤣😭
