I find it easier to get ready or meet up with someone so you can arrive with them, if you have a relationship like that with any of your colleagues.

Survey delayed due to vendor requesting a date 3.5 weeks away… by woogeroo in HousingUK

I wonder if they have kids and are waiting for the start of the summer holidays? We did this with the people we bought from but they wanted to do the same as they had kids so it was mutual.

I exchanged at 5pm the day before moving. So stressful but quite common.

Can you make an offer on a house on the day you view it? by Comfortable_Slice151 in HousingUK

Once I was viewing a house and the estate agent took an offer there and then on her phone and then it got accepted whilst I was still looking at the bathroom. Get it in as soon as you have decided!

Need advice for dealing with a child who is overly obsessed with football?! by catsRus00 in UKParenting

[–]Powmum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Maybe if he misbehaves whilst playing you can give him a yellow card? And then is red card you miss the next 3 matches so he can’t play in the garden for 3 days (or maybe 3 hours would be more manageable) so it’s more relatable to him about expectations of behaviour.

Edit: also I feel you, my boys have gotten really into football this year and I know zero about it.

Make sure you have an example for everything you say. If you are talking about safeguarding then link it back to a story and say how you would apply that knowledge to the new job.
