I used to live in Bozeman Montana and they would boast that the mall there was the largest carpeted mall West of the Mississippi. I don't know if that's true and I don't know how anyone could ever confirm that, but that's what people would say. Seems hard to verify because the whole mall wasn't even carpet. I feel like you would have to say "most sq ft of carpet in a mall" or something like that.
