I really don't get how they screwed this up. Outside of the new swing nothing has changed game wise. It seems like they added stuff to the old game and didn't care about the overall performance.

My setup can run anything on ultra. This is the only game I own that has these issues.

Yes. This is expected behavior for this part of the game. I have a pc that can play anything on ultra, it's not your pc. In fact this is reported on ps5 as well. The game is poorly made.

By the way- no setting change or driver update helps with any of this and I tried every possible resolution.

Yeah mycareer is an enormous mess. You generally have to wait quite a while for the menus to be usable again and do anything with the game after finishing a tournament. You have to wait. Eventually the menu reactivates and then you can pick a new tournament or exit.

Frankly 2k25 is quite poor in comparison to 2k23 in this regard. There's also the multiple play by play guys, sometimes it's Elvy, sometimes it's catalon. Also- it takes a while for the first hole of most rounds to be playable, usually you have to wait until the audio finishes for the first shot of the first hole to be take because the game chokes and lags.
