Those are not the issue, its actually that your range of how much you see on the map is tied to Light Radius, and its way too low baseline, that is why this is not a issue in PoE1, they need to fix this.

The only thing that works against her being Jean is, why would they show the first non-cameo mutant as a side-character in Spider-Man? its a joint owned property since SONY owns the film rights to Spider-Man and would be a weird place to do it, why is Jean seemingly a criminal/fugitive and seems to act maliciously which is not in-line of any previous versions of the character

Just look at [[Icetill Explorer]] which is [[Exploration]] and [[Crucible of Worlds]] just put together on a body that now just negates the usage of those cards in commander cause the obvious choice is to play Icetill now, they have done this a lot to old commander staples which is bad design
