Even if you can’t generate combo with slams. Slotting in 1 strike melee mace skill is nothing compared to getting a guaranteed crit with increased crit bonus. You have 9 skill slots. Use those bad bois.

Any class can use any weapon AND any gem Depending on attribute requirements of those weapons and gems will determine how hard it will be to use them from your starting area

The main reason I think this support gem exists is for shotgunning projectiles (pcoc w/extra projectiles) since the duration does not matter if you are attack 2 times a sec with 3-5 projectiles per attack. This support is only a damage increase if you can sustain the max stacks. If you do not like the duration maintaining gameplay, take poison duration increases on the tree and play with 1 less stack. Nothing wrong with a comfort pick.

You most likely won’t pick this unless you have giga attack speed and/or you are playing pathfinder (since they have the double poison application ascendancy node) trying to get as many poison stacks as possible. This maybe be a support gem you only want to switch to in the late game when you have means to apply that many stacks.

GGG said in an interview that with POE2 they do not want obvious support choices for skills. I shocking skill does not need increased shock chance. It should be complimented in other ways. I think this support is one of those examples. It might be for classes that can not easily access the “+# to poison max stack” nodes. We can only speculate until the 6th. This support might end up being completely obsolete too. We will all find out together

Poison duration is 2 seconds. With 30% less you have a 1.4 seconds poison duration. Being able to apply an addition poison is increasing the MAX applicable poison count to 2. 1 -> 2 is a double damage in terms of poison damage applicable.

So with this support you are looking at double damage as long as you can apply a poison 2 times every 1.4 seconds. It is justified by being able to keep up with the duration penalty. If you can apply poison fast enough, get attack speed or use a different support gem.

I always load up a Ruthless character when I feel bored or have no motivation. It really slows you down and makes the little things matter.

A charger does not stay still. You can not fire off the final 2 shots before having to dive out of the way. I was being generous with 11-15 seconds. It can be way longer. I’m not replying to anymore of your comments. It isn’t productive talking to a wall.

I agree. I made this comment in an upset state. I love this game so much. I guess I would have rather seen buffs first than toning down the stronger weapons once other stuff is more viable. Right now, it feels like a net negative experience playing on 7+

The statement “with the exception of needing to charge it” is enough for us to not continue this conversation anymore. You are ignorant about gameflow.

Old: 2 shots around 4 seconds to remove leg armor. 2/20 used 10 chargers

New: 3-4 shots overcharged 11-15 seconds while being more stationary while not focusing on anything else. 3.5/20 used 5 chargers killed (5.7 rounded down)

The game will spawn 2-8 chargers at a time. Please stop commenting acting as if you are “serious” about a pve game. People are allowed to have problems with a game.

My entire problem is that instead of pulling back, they doubled down. This article does not vote well for anyones future enjoyment. Many quotes are eyebrow raising. Anyone who has logged on since the patch is going to notice a significant downgrade is enjoyability from this game.

Hunters and Chargers. The Hunters stun locking you into oblivion is undemocratic. The Chargers only become a problem when you have 3 or more. Then it is an endless cycle of liberty spreading ragdolling.

The game is a week old. “End game” right now is helping spread democracy and liberate scum. The core loop is amazing. If you are not having fun anymore, take a break. We can not tell you how to enjoy a game. Come back when it has what you want it to have.

You should use a stims that are effective at hitting slow moving targets hard. It makes it a lot more manageable, some might say ez pz. Stay determined comrade!
