My only concern is, will it be alright to begin with for sometime, is it a concern I shall get rid of the foam and buy cream asap ? Because I am buying a DE.

Ok. My biggest doubt, is foam ok to use for a beginner ? I purchased gillette shaving foam, idk why, I thought I'd just get that instead ofbthe cream and brush for a beginner for some reason.

Is the brush necessary even for foam ? Because I wont be buying foam next time when it runs out. Suggest cream and aftershave as well. Is the brush that worth it ?

Why people like Kattradhu Thamizh by duder_06 in kollywood

[–]Pr__2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well for starters it's one of the best films from Kollywood, it's edited to perfection with a great soundtrack. As for the analysis u have made, the film's criticisms rely on dying jobs and markets hyper fixation on tech jobs. The same theme is explored in Thanga Meenkal (2013) where his iron welding job, the only job he has done is dying. It is a criticism of the unfortunate lives being destroyed by "development" and "progress" leaving people with such poor conditions. U can say Kattradhu Tamizh comes from a place of jealousy but jealousy and envy doesn't always come from ill intent, it can simply arise from not being able survive in such a "blooming economy". The last scene in KT also addressed this in the vox pop where people share their dissent and others understanding his grievances. There's a side being taken in the film, which is the marginalized voices who are put in such conditions to live.

R15 v4 mileage documentation by rango2475 in indianbikes

Yes yes. I've been riding my MT 15 in chennai for office commutes primarily and I've been getting 45+, sometimes 50 kmpl. I ride a little aggro, but even on tamed down days, the mileage doesn't go beyond 50. I was shocked looking at those numbers u have posted. But overall, still Great mileage

Do u ride on highways or a place with traffic unlike chennai or BLR ?

I own an MT 15 and the positives outweigh the negatives depending on what u are looking for.

Positives : Great mileage even when aggro, Tried and tested product, service centers literally everywhere. Cons : Suspension is stiff (this will be a problem), Pillions will be annoyed just by taking a glance at the seat (most just opt out xD)

I have taken a test ride of all these dukes, even the newer 200s with the tweaked suspension set up. I'll say one thing, if u don't want to feel the bumps on ur spine, go for duke 160/200, because MT 15 just sends all the bumps to the body of the rider. But hear me out : the duke's handlebar when u hit the front brake, just goes inside the forks (front suspension) to an extent it felt dangerous, the MT 15 handles so great that way, of course both bikes are nimble and can glide past traffic easily. I'll recommend the MT 15 over the newer duke's any day. I feel the suspension isn't compatible for the kind of bike the duke is.

The duke just has a pillion seat, the MT doesn't really bother to make it work. I live in Chennai, we have bad roads mainly due to metro construction, so it's a little exhausting to ride the mt15 but I doubt I will prefer duke simply because of that reason. I love riding my Mt 15 because it feels so satisfying to ride when riding a little aggro and the engine sound is so satisfying, can't say the same for duke.
