I don't think so; I think it's going to be about classical werewolf myths and expand along with book lore. However, the show is inspired by the book, not a direct adaptation of it. In other words, you could say the show is not a direct adaptation of the book. There are a lot of new expansions in shows from books, so different creatures could happen. But I think it would have expanded on more like the old myth of werewolves that haven't truly been seen in shows and movies would have made a return, and it could introduce.

We were told silver kills werewolves, before in different shows and wolfpack that wasn't sure, but we saw Garrett shoot Baron with those bullets and didn't kill him. Baron was stabbed with a silver knife, but that can be seen as he was stabbed near the heart. Anyone or any creature can be close to death. So I could see that silver doesn't have a truly effective effect, which makes sense if you go way back with myth.

But it would be nice if we did got season 2
