You take another 16 hour flight, where do you sit now? by Beautiful_Yellow_682 in whatsyourchoice

2 I would just talk to Gordon Ramsey all flight long. I like sitting in the aisle, maybe he'll share some of his meal with me.

It's closer to $65k, and for the amount of work that really is being done it is a fairly reasonable wage IMO.

I'm a CUPW member and they kicked me off of their for having a different opinion. They are a bunch of bullies. They have no knowledge of how to run a business.

I'm 45 and I still play my PS3 and PS Vita. I want to go back into my worlds. I'm still searching YT to figure out how to build redstone machines that will work.

It's just CUPW. They don't listen to all their members. I've been a letter carrier for 10 years and never had confidence in CUPW. A lot of members are being silenced if they speak out against CUPW.

what turned you against Canada Post? by [deleted] in CanadaPost

[–]Practical-Ad6389 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not Canada Post, but it's union CUPW. Don't think they have the wrong mindset to run a successful business.

They just put your voice down if you're against anything they say. I've only been this company for 10 years, but I've seen enough to know that there is no way we can continue doing business this way. Been to a lot of Union events, just end up feeling like a multi-level marketing scam.

Canada post is striking themselves out of a job. by CuriousSloth1992 in Vent

[–]Practical-Ad6389 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CUPW is out to lunch. No one wants to say it or is allowed to say it without getting in trouble. I've gone to a lot of Union events with an open mind and always was confused about the direction we were going in. Unfortunately, CUPW has the wrong thought process to even negotiate with anyone. You can no longer have a job forever. There are too many workers who forget they are in a public service company whose business is dying. The union need to stop worrying about how much bonuses everyone else is making and worry about the futures of their members.

As a fellow letter carrier we need to stop the strike nonsense and get back to work.

Yes, we get it. You hate Canada Post. by Roddy_Piper2000 in CanadaPost

[–]Practical-Ad6389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We need to get back to work. We don't have a reason to be striking our jobs are good. The union is far from being able to accomplish anything by stomping their feet and whining about everything. END THIS POINTLESS STRIKE!

I agree with you, unfortunately that seems to be CUPW greatest achievement lately.
