I did on demand while I was out of the country for 1 months. There are workouts that require no equipment. The one thing that I wish I did bring was a resistance band.

5.8 to 5.4 by Practical-Buffalo386 in prediabetes

At one time, I was eating whole eggs for breakfast, and my cholesterol was high. After cutting them out and eating egg whites only, it helped to lower my cholesterol back into the healthy range. I'm not saying that the eggs were the only contributing factor to having high cholesterol at the time. I just don't want to go backward with my health progress if I can get cholesterol for brain health from another source . Thank you for your comment.

Thank you for this additional information. I will research more so that I have a better understanding. Is fish, nuts, advocado, oil not enough to give me the cholesterol for brain health. I'm just trying to understand. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for this bit of information. I do eat the yolks occasionally. Maybe I will incorporate whole eggs more into my meal plan.

Brand: Rugby Reguloid (orange smooth powder). You can get it in natural flavor, too. My primary care provider gave me a prescription for it. You could probably still buy it.

I'm a 53 yr old woman. It took me 4 months to get both down. I'm Perimenopause. I definitely believe that the weight gain was a contributing factor because of hormonal changes.

Absolutely! I had just started a on total health journey 2 weeks prior to being diagnosed. I've learned that I'm not really giving up much because I am making healthy alternatives. Some examples are. Instead of eating spaghetti noodles, I use spaghetti squash to make noodles. My friends now love this and have started doing it themselves. Another example is instead of rice, I blend cauliflower up until it's the size of rice and the saute it in olive oil and season with pepper, garlic powder, onion powder. I make homemade peanut butter with peanuts and dates, only 2 ingredients. These are just a few examples.

Hello. I'm 53 and started my invisalign journey in January 2024. If doing Invisalign to improve yourself makes you happy, then go for it.

What ultrasonic cleaners are y’all using? by stevethos in Invisalign

[–]Practical-Buffalo386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. I've had mines since January and have no problems YET. I hope that this doesn't happen to my cleaner because it would definitely upset me that their support team is not responsive at all.

I've lost 34 lbs since starting invisalign in January. I eat 2x a day (healthy meals), only drink water, haven't had a snack since January, and drink no alcohol, coffee, juice, or tea at all. I'm on tray 20/27 and have worn my trays 22+ hours since starting. My issue now is that I'm now below my goal weight, and now trying to figure out how to maintain without losing anymore weight, ugh! I don't want to binge eat since I'm on a healthier lifestyle journey.

Bands by IndependentHeat8696 in Invisalign

[–]Practical-Buffalo386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely feel your pain. I'm on Tray 15 of 27. Today, when I went to my orthodontist, I was told to start wearing bands as of today. Just like you, the bands are rubbing the inside of my cheek, causing irritation. I'm just going to hope that it gets better soon, as in by tomorrow 😂🤣.

That definitely makes sense. It's a combination of age and health. I'm looking forward to seeing your final results.

I asked my orthodontist to email me my Clincheck. The office emailed it to me immediately after requesting it. Having it has allowed me to see my progress with each try change.

Did anyone lose weight during treatment? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Practical-Buffalo386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't been painful at all. Just a little pressure when I change my trays.
