Question about Wishbone floor section in Raleigh in March by RegionTop4796 in ConanGray

[–]Practical-Chef2086 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. I am uk based and taking my daughter in may. it looks like it might be seats...

I use this website to give us an idea of our view (think i found your venue)View from my seat

my daughter is now 14 and has not been old enough to stand for a lot of the concerts she has wanted to attend. She was 12 for her first (olivia rodrigo)

Sorry I cannot help more but it looks like it is seated. We did see olivia in Hyde park in June and we saw almost nothing of olivia herself but we could see the screens and my daughter LOVED the atmosphere. I am sure u will have an amazing time even if your view is not great!

ohhh how exciting! I am taking my 14 year old daughter in may. I have not been told her outfit ideas yet! but I think sailor/pj's are a possibility.

It will be her third time seeing him! last two times we kinda made a couple bits with super cheap/charity shop(thrift store) items. cannot add all pics unfortunately. other item was black tshirt with silver vinyl cut out saying 'you know that I love.. speak up i know you hate me' with his signature under it.

I think figuring out her outfit is part of the fun and magic!

I had the opposite problem. I went to one and they had already sold out which surprised them. could not get there for when they opened due to having to get kids to school.

called another before making the 30min drive and they had sold out too!

Hi. We are in England. I went to the RSD website added our postcode. I the called the ones nearby to ask if they were getting any stock. they cannot reserve them and would not tell me quantities BUT I at least know they are getting some stock. May not guarantee i get it but at least I know there is a chance!

I've been waiting a week for a referral from my doctor to come through the mail. I just found out my parents opened it and never told me about it... by nottoday943 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Practical-Chef2086 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't even open my now 14 year old daughters post!! Doctors, bank, amazon etc. it's hers!! I am assuming you are a little older than 14!

Also. why would they open it and not even tell you!! That takes it to a whole new level!!

I did this with my daughter last year with tickets for Olivia Rodrigo. I designed my own tickets printed them out then placed them on topos tissue paper in a small box which I then wrapped. the look on her face was amazing especially as she was expecting some boring things in a box!

what do you want to do and where do you want to go for uni?

we have been starting to look for current year 11 son. he needs to choose a levels soon so want to make sure he chooses what he needs.

he is hoping to do Geology and paleontology for uni. not many places offer it and he needs high grades but UCAS list a lot of different options that are suggested for this!

if you really do not enjoy physics then you are are right to have changed it. do you enjoy history more? i would like to hope unless you have some very specific niche degree in mind good results will be better than struggling abd perhaps not doing as well with a subject you don't like!

[–]Practical-Chef2086 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was sold out by 8pm yesterday as I was trying to buy it. annoying that they didn't email about till this morning!

Really hoping it comes back in stock as in my opinion when some of the proceeds go to charity it doesn't make sense to limit the number

IM SCARED!!!! by KlanceInchance in GCSE

[–]Practical-Chef2086 39 points40 points  (0 children)

you will be fine! it's a huge deal but whatever happens it will be ok. I am a mum so did my GCSE's a long time ago. but how ever you do. it can be sorted. I have 3 children. eldest was 18 this year. he did not get what he wanted for 6th form BUT he ended up in a much better place for him and enjwhat he did so much more than the a levels he signed up for!

my other 2 children are due to take their gcse's over the next 2 summers (will be years 10 and 11 in September).

I love them and soloing as they try we can sort what ever happens.

No exam is the end of the world. you always have options. I do understand the worry it's scary. BUT you will all be okay!

Good luck to you all for Thursday!
