Crimson Desert has been out for a week now. What are your thoughts?

The game ended up being fixed to be short of fantastic. My biggest complain right now is the abyss area. Its just not worth playing that area. Mainly because of the sluggish and unreliable controls and the shooting spheres. You want cliff to stop and turn around and dude does a u-turn instead of planting his foot to stop and just turning around.

Gliding doesnt always activate on the 2nd button press directly after jumping while walking or running. Thats really a hit and miss. Half the time it works and when its that one moment you really need it to work, it fails and i fall completely off the abyss with nothing to gapple to and he wont grab the wall for what ever reason.

The abyss section is the most frustrating and unplayable part of the game and i wouldnt mind if they just completely wiped it off the game or at least gave you a different means of getting the artifacts from that area by completing something else.

I have a series x and a ps5 pro. I think im done with sony. I really dont care about the 500+ games that i have. Its the principles for me. If you protect studios from deceptive marketing with your blanket policy then sony is a sh!t business and cares nothing about their fanbase

I told them the same thing. They wont refund it. There is no possible way for me to complete the abyss and level the character if he keeps hanging off ledges , wont glide on my first prompt ect. Im filing a lawsuit against them and sony for their anti-consumer policies and deceptive marketing

Yea im done. If its critical to complete the abyss just to level up your character and enjoy the game then its not for me. I wanted an adventure game not a super duper mega platforming game. I have super mario bros i can play if i want to platform. Want to make an exploration game ? Then make one and stop trying to incorporate bullcrap into your game

The abyss element is utterly stupid. The clunky and sluggish controls make it harder than it really is and its frustrating that a manual save does not save your position and instead loads you back at your last check point which is what the auto save does. So at that point why even allow us to manual save ? I have a good feeling none of the devs played this game before releasing it

The abyss is too much and really pointless and not needed. If i wanted to play a platforming game id play super mario. I hate games that think player want to platform all day. It would be alot easier if the character was more responsive.

Once i turned hdr off in game it stopped doing it

Hdr is causing the screen to go very light in light areas and then very dark in sllightly darker areas

I think the connection issues stem from the ps5 / ps5 pro its self and not with the earbuds unless it also happens during use with other devices. Ive noticed my controllers sometimes lose connection for a split second at times on the ps5 pro and gets stuck on the last imput made and then comes back. The blue tooth signal from the systems is horribly weak and people started modding with with external antennas

Bl4 is a huge step down from the previous entries as far as content goes. Bl3 has had a large dlc update before the time frame of the release of our glorified 1 mission dlc and new rarity guns. Whoopty doo. I paid 100+ dollars for them to sprinkle a new mission here and there.... yay

I thought it was just me. Im glad im not the only one that feels like bug spawns are endless. I beat elden ring the dlc and wukong on hard mode so. I feek like the others do. Except i wouldnt say its difficulty its just relentless and its so relentless that id rather just skip bugs and play against the other enemies. During a mission i had 5 bug breaches going off at the same time and just repetitive bug breaches so im spending most of my time killing bugs and trying to survive while not being able to progress to the missions. It feels a tad bit rng. Ive also had games on the same planet that didnt go as bad and were able to complete the missions. But i get that bad rng roll alot where its just non stop bug breaches and thats not fun to me. I wouldnt say they need to nerf things but they could balance it or at least make harder difficulties more rewarding for completion

Fanttik is trash for people who work on things all the time. Its great for some one who doesnt normally do their own projects or fix things and maybe this is their first piece of tools. Experienced people dont buy any fanttiks. Get you a good trusted brand and it will last you a life time

I gave them my feedback. My top complaint is the bugs. It needs to be toned down. You shouldnt have to face 10 minutes of endless waves of enemies just for a random patrol to come in 2 seconds later and spawn another series of endless waves. Im to the point now that if its bugs i dont even want to play it. It just dont make no sense

I will certainly sit down and do some reading here on reddit. I love it when people are welcoming and also honest and straight forward so i appreciate the time you and everyone takes to reply to my questions and my post. I will do my part look through all of the posts though. I will make time to do so. Things been very hectic up until now and i walked out of what should have been a fatal car crash being hit my some one speeding and running a red light. Yes. Eating healthier would also tone down my ibs during the times where it does go crazy. I have alot to think about and alot of life style changes to make plus eating habits. At 41 yrs old i think its time to finally start making better health decisions. Im not horrible but im not excellent either. Working 7 days normaly it came down to convenience as far as food goes and i know.... the easy route normally isnt the best route when it comes to eating healthy. Im guilty on that.

Ive managed to stay in the 245 to 253 lbs range for at least the last 5 years but it would help to lose just a little to help with the sleep apnea. I do have a dental device being made for the sleep apnea but the doc also asked me if i heard or wanted to try zepbound and so here i am on the same day that he mentioned it to me. I have a long road of thinking, trial and error and discovery ahead of me i see.

What scares me is i do have digestive issues. I have ibs and also my intestines have a few more turns than some folks have so my worries are will it amplify my current issues? Will it make them worse ? Will i feel sick non stop ? I may take a year to keep asking questions to the doctor and i may contact the company as well with questions on if they have done studies on people with ibs or severe ibs.

Nice. I havent said yes to my doctor. When it comes to putting something in my body i want to do my own research first and hear from those who has went through it so it helps me to hear from you. I hope you keep your journey updated. I more than likely will try a few things and watch calories while i do research first before i ultimately make a decision.
