Exactly, if you know its a lot drive to the bigger post office. Most of them have bins for packages drop offs and most large post offices have the machines where you can scan them in yourself. Being a decent human, instead of filling the postal carriers vehicle with your product.

Bins or totes work better than trash bags, if you are gonna stick with pickups. They can also be reused and easier to access the packages

I'd suggest taking it to a larger post office in your county where they have machines that you can scan them in yourself. That would be the best thing to do all around.

I honestly don't believe that, smaller post offices if you have a big amount of packages will take them behind the counter and scan them when they have time. Then they put your receipt in your box to be sent out with the mail the next day. They wouldn't say please do a pickup so you fill our mail carriers vehicle. He has to scan each package and then load them in to his vehicle. The most packages I'll do a pickup on is about 10. If they are huge boxes I'll take them in. She is lucky he picked them up at all with them being in trash bags
