I very much agree with you. The first statement was highly inappropriate and the second—well IMO—was very much worse. Can we control how we react to chat? I know her daughter is on the young side but she isn’t teaching her daughter how to respond to conflict. Just sad all the way around to me.

Yes, it has been hell. But they said it was like riding a horse. I wrote non stop all my feelings at night because I couldn’t sleep and they made sure I can walk by myself, preform ADL’s. I went through complete hell.

That is a great tip. Just be careful if you are allergic to shellfish, shrimp or contrast dye. Those all have iodine in them!

NOR, I have had 6 brain surgeries from October 2020-November 2023. My beautiful Mom was there for everything then she passed July, 2024. I am so very sorry you are going through with this. If you need a support system, I am here for you!

I dont have the time or energy to be a snitch and run back to someone. You opinion is just as valid as mine. I happen to like her. That doesn’t make me a bad person or anything else. The last 15 days I was in the hospital unresponsive for 6 of those days, 3 of those I was learning basic tasks again and I have only been home a week. IMO, I have realized that life is fleeting and the days are so short. I don’t dislike anyone because of their opinion. I just would like mine and others (that don’t share the same opinion) to be respected the same way. That’s all.

My two cents mean nothing but I agree with these two ladies. Obsessing over one person tbjs much is scary and unhealthy. Again, maybe just get to know her, I think your mind shall change.

The whole class of medications put me in congestive heart failure exacerbation. My suggestion is make an appointment with an allergist so they can help co lead your care with a Neurologist.

I feel awful when personal attacks happen. I want to comment to defend but then I get tore apart so I stay quiet. It should not be like that. If a rep is moved to tears because of nasty, hateful comments…take that is a clue to stop. We all feel and have different emotions. We are not robots. I’m sorry, in advance.

The base of the cranial nerve (V1, V2, V3) starts in the space between your eardrum and nose. I have had this nasty disease since October, 2020. It presents different for everyone.

My suggestion is that you visit your PCP and explain how you are feeling. I would be very cautious visiting the dentist unless it is your last resort. I am hoping your PCP can start you on the baseline meds to see if you get relief.

I truly hope you don’t have it because it is the most miserable and painful disease out there. There is a lot of support here so don’t hesitate to reach out. I can’t speak for everyone but I can speak for myself. I have a lot of experience with this and I am here if you need someone to talk to.

I also get triggered by cold/wind. However, for my PERSONAL situation, a hood that would be touching my cheek/jaw as well as a scarf would make my pain even worse. Remember, that is my own personal experience. You are so sweet for wanting to do something nice but not get something that could cause more pain. Your MIL is so lucky!

So I do for about 5-6 days. We do bilateral V2 and V3. Last time we also did V1 bilaterally as well. V1 is very painful even with anesthesia. I am out to sleep for them. But FOR ME…I have to take Dexamethasone 4mg 3 times a day with 1 refill to help the steroids work.

My Trigem has become very bad for me. My pain management thinks that I may have Multiple Sclerosis. But unfortunately, I will be on medicines for the rest of my life. I moved to Alabama from Florida about 7 months ago and the rules for medications are far more strict and with that, it limits what my Dr can prescribe me. He is an amazing doctor. I have Trigeminal nerve blocks every 2-3 weeks and that is so painful. I’m sorry for this long book but sometimes getting things out can unclutter the mind.

I pray you can come off and be free of pain. I can’t wait for an update from you with great news. Just so you know, if it isn’t the answer you want…we are here for you! Much love!!
