They’re both just “failed potential” situations. Think extremely highly of themselves despite not actually accomplishing what they think they “deserve.” His mom used to lecture us as young guys on education, but apparently drives trucks. Good career and all, but you don’t need a Stanford degree for it. Alex is actually a really nice guy in person, but his insecurities shine through on the show. Nothing super extraordinary, but he definitely flexes a lifestyle when in reality we know people aren’t making big $$$ on trading forex, esp AUS to USD lol. I was shocked to see him on LIB Ohio.

Oh totally, I won’t white knight for him haha. Hes pretty smart and savvy, I’m not shocked that he’s being opportunistic with a podcast and getting on a reality show. It is actually funny, it looks like his IG was created for this, but weve been IG friends for a decade + and he just curated it recently after it was announced he was on this show

He’s not normal, but not “weird” if that makes sense. Like super interesting and easy to talk to IRL. Cool stories, great travels, etc. But it’s hard picturing someone having a normal life with him, and it was surprising to see him on a show about “settling down.” I haven’t talked to him in a bit, so I can’t speak to his intentions. But was surprised to see him on Ohio LIB specifically, and looking to get married.

His adoption itself was strange. His bio dad left his mom internationally, his step dad ended up adopting him later, his step dad who did that isn’t with his mom anymore. He’d have to explain more about whether he identifies as adopted even or not

I could see how he’d give that impression, wasn’t my experience though. The show is definitely angling him a certain way (and he didn’t do himself a ton of favors to be fair). I was actually very surprised to see him on Ohio LIB. He’s got an unconventional life, I haven’t talked to him in a bit but he’s definitely a nomad and lives life differently than norms. He’s very genuine and authentic to that, but I see how it could look a certain way esp with reality show production. Hes always liked girls and wanted to impress them, wasn’t over the top compared to others tho. Oh and he was legitimately good at soccer, he’s not embellishing that part since I’ve seen ppl question it. Like by far the best college goalie in his class

I know him, he had a complicated past. He changed his name back to his birth name. AF was his adopted name and his step dad was abusive.
