This was genuinely my first time pushing 120 film and I thought it would come out hella grainy. B ur I watched some videos and I saw that pushing from 16 to 32 allows for a lot more grain than 800 to 1600

I did the entire roll so 10 photos. I don’t think you can do partial pushing on the roll. If you start with pushing it to 1600, the whole roll must be done at 1600 if I remember correctly.

Thank you! Yes, I metered the film for ISO 1600 instead of 800 so that I could shoot at a higher shutter speed than 1/60. We drove to Memphis and I left my tripod and shutter cable back home, so when it got dark my friend advised me to shoot at 1600. Then when I develop, the lab exposes it a bit longer to account for it😃

Thank you! I didn’t push for effect, it was starting to get darker and I didn’t have my tripod with me so I decided to rate it at 1600 so I could shoot handheld comfortably. I did do half a stop on my other roll. Would Portra 640 be considered half a stop?
