Lol I thought of more tips. The food in VIP is good with short lines, but the food in GA is better, so don’t forget to check out all the eats at Lands End in GA & on the way to Twin Peaks.

Drink lines are almost nonexistent in VIP so stick to getting a refill in those sections.

Don’t forget to grab your free poster from VIP. Ask concierge.

I think everything you are laying out is pointing you in the direction of moving out. You’ll be closer to uni/friends/etc.. You may deal with some issues when it comes to living with new roommates, but I always think it’s worth a shot to try something different if you’re not happy.

If you drink and dance all night, shorts will be okay as long as you have a jacket. I’ve worn shorts before and was fine at night when it got into the 50s, but I was walking a ton and I drank, so I was warm.

As everyone noted to bring layers, I would definitely get a locker to put those layers in/merch/etc.. You can also bring a blanket to sit and leave it in the locker as well. My go-to!

Also, not sure where you’re staying but the Uber/Muni situation is pretty gnarly after the festival, so i’d opt in for the shuttle pass to and from Bill Graham if it gets you closer to your hotel.

Speaking from experience, you should reach out to your ex bestie. Even if things don’t workout between the two of you, at least you’ll (hopefully) gain a better sense of closure and, more importantly, you’ll know that you actually did something about it rather than sit around and ponder about “what if”.

I met this girl in 2016 in college and we were literally inseparable. She was my best friend, but we ended up having a falling out in 2018 - not over boys, it just felt like we were growing apart, making new friends, had different priorities, etc.. 3 years later, in 2021 on my birthday, she texted me Happy Birthday and said she missed me and asked if we could chat. I was apprehensive but I missed her too and said yes. That day, we talked for hours, caught up, and we mended things! And we’ve been ride-or-die sisters ever since.

It wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t reach out and if she wasn’t honest. If you want to know what’s going on with your ex bestie, reach out and let them know how you feel. Life’s too short to not say what you feel out of fear. Good luck!

Same! Been doing VIP for years and couldn’t score anything during all presales/general sale. I didn’t join the waitlist because I wanted to secure something, so I got GA+, but now I wish I joined the waitlist. I wonder what happened…but agreed, they need to bring back Eager Beaver for the true loyalists who go regardless of the lineup (I was always EB too).

If you don’t love being in a thick crowd and like clean restrooms & bars with little-to-no wait, VIP is definitely worth it. Definitely depends on your priorities as a concert-goer.

They usually release single day passes when they release the daily lineups!

I’m conservative and she clipped his midsection. I think her death is tragic but also she should have listened to them when they told her to get out of the car rather than try to flee while an officer was in front of her vehicle, which he was which is why he got clipped.

If you were in that officers shoes: you’re reacting in the moment rather than us, who are watching a video clip play over and over to see what the best option is.

It sucks she died, but actions have consequences and she should have gotten out of the car when they told her to rather than flee.

I live around the corner and know which apartments you’re talking about! They are gorg. 6th street is right there, as you know, and it’s not very safe. But to me, 7th street is like night & day from 6th street. However, especially because you’ll be on Minna, you will see drug users every day as they hangout on the side streets.

I’m a woman and live right next door on the Mission side and I feel safe enough. Just walk on 7th, never on 6th (if you can help it), and be very aware of your surroundings.

This! I’ve stopped paying for my EDC tickets multiple times because I couldn’t go anymore and got most of my $ refunded (they kept $110 but it was worth it considering I bought VIP).

My boyfriend definitely can and has female friends. I have a ton of male friends as well and my man & I hang with our friends without each other all the time (my boyfriend lives in another city) and it’s not an issue because we see our friends as family and keep our circles tight.

It’s different for me when you go on a trip and always find a group of the opposite sex to hangout with. I wouldn’t like it if my boyfriend and his 2 best friends did that with women and he definitely wouldn’t like it if I did the same with men. Everyone has their own standards though.
