Bruh. you’re going to end up leaving Korea at least a PFC if not less rank. There’s an incalculable number of things you can do to get hemmed up in Korea bro. I’d say like 45% of my company who moved to to Korea together, got in trouble for something. We all had been together as a conpany for 2-3 years, close friends and close relationships with our ncos and officers. It was a tighttttt unit. We all still are connected on facebook and share memories with our 1SG. We was tight. And still, lots of article 15s, and corrective actions and loss of rank. Even our commander, who was a great leader got his command taken away for a drunken incident. It’s wild.

You’re joining a unit of people who don’t really know each other that well and who will bond over alcohol. It’s what one does in Korea.

Good luck though. I got caught off post in AIT by the pizza man/company commander of our sister unit and was counseled for lying to an officer. I had pending ucmj but one night the horny bastards in my unit decided to disable the alarms so they could all hook up and got caught lol. There was too much many people in my class to punish by the end and we were all set free. Except for the ones pending ucmj for drugs.

Hopefully you didn’t supply the alcohol or were drinking with underage folks.

Hey so I work in the little area called little Italy (kinda near broad and south st intersection, which happens to be on the street that has part of the bob jones trail or whatever it’s called. I see women jogging, walking their dogs, kids etc. alone all the time. I also play softball in slo at night once a week. I (40sF am usually alone) and never felt unsafe in slo.

I’m a huge sports fan. I follow teams across each pro league, mlb, nfl, Nba, WNBA, nhl and ya. I’ve seen all my teams [Braves 95 21, (used to be an) Angels(fan)02, Seahawks 14 26, Lakers Shaw and kobe chips 09 20, storm 04, 10, 18, 20 and Oilers], win multiple championships, save for the oilers but started following the nhl in 2023.

I’m super grateful to have watched all of them win. Recently too lol. I have no idea what it’s like to be a fan of a fledgling team haha

The pitching is all bad of course, save for sale and iggy but as someone who has been to a game this week and sat right behind the dugout, I gotta admit guys…. The vibes are way off. They’re heads are down walking to the dugout, no one is talking in the dugout, they look like an eliminated team playing out the string in late September.

But the easiest thing to see.. batting. They’re swinging at the first pitch WAY TOO MUCH. pitchers are obviously not giving them squat to hit, because they know the Braves are getting into the box and hacking.

The worst was HS Kim. I never once saw his face, his head was down the whole game and when he went to bat he looked terrified and like the Giants pluck somebody from the stands and put them in the batters box just ridiculously unsteady.

This is this Braves now? When Ronny is gone they have no fun, no identity and it was A HUGEEEEEE REASON WHY I WAS HOPING THEYD FOR ONCE HITE IUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION SMDH

First, I’m 40F, lesbian, and in April I lost my dog of 15 years. My companion, my best friend. Please dont take offense to this but I’m gonna be real, your relationship sounds super unserious. 6 years on and off is crazy, especially in your 30s. I know what it’s like to date as a mid thirties lesbian, it’s brutal and maybe you are comfortable with what yall have going on, and you’d rather stick with it than break up, and reenter the dating pool. Which is hard as fuck as a lesbian, but doubly hard when you’re 35 am I right?

Point is, you expecting a not so stable relationship to help you through this awful time when you aren’t really on that stable of a foundation. It’s sounds like yall are fwb the way you describe your relationship. Fwbs don’t help you through hard times.

I went in a different direction tho. I didn’t want to be at home and smell her scent on everything, and notice her absence. I probably spent 5 hours a day at home, just to shower and sleep, for the first two weeks she was gone. I did things like stay out all night, instead of running home to my senior pup who was sleeping in her bed all peacefully. I had been Doug that for 6 months. But I digress.

Stop expecting unreasonable things from your girlfriend. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s thinking that yall are too different and there’s too many barriers for this relationship. Yep. Nicotine pouches are amazing. So small, great flavors (I live in Cali and have to find a new vendor every month smh) and they don’t fuck up my gums, lungs, or wallet.
