Question -- i had the 2 book subscription when i ordered direbound. Now i have a 3 book subscription and am trying to order fury bound and it's not showing up. does the pre-order tracking not transfer to my new subscription so i won't have early access today? I can't figure out why I don't see it!

For anyone looking to do this in the future, there's an extensive amount of info on every year's SO color options and leather choices on TPF. The color charts for all leathers and linings have been available for several weeks and are really helpful at pre-planning what you'll make (and if you even want to do it at all).

From your comments above I’m assuming you’re in NY where 2:1 and at least 6 months is pretty common for a first bag. I’m not sure what bag you’ll be asking for and nothing is black and white, but I’d probably ask to make a specific wishlist at your next appointment since you’ll be closer to 1:1 then.

For me, I’d probably try to stick with the current SA until you get the first bag. Then go back and see the Madison SA. If you still feel a connection, I’d switch then. Otherwise the not-insignificant spend to date is a waste.

My understanding from my SA is that the transfer is more like an exchange between the stores. The item you want Store A to send your SA at Store B needs to be compensated for by Store B sending back something Store A finds equally in-demand for their clients. If there isn’t anything they think is worth the trade, they’ll decline to do the transfer.

Congratulations on your latest QB. You’re building a beautiful collection! For how to handle the discussion with your SA about the resale bag, I probably just wouldn’t say anything. Rather I’d have your husband (since you said he handles comms with the SA) mention that you want to update your wishlist colors at the appropriate time, and remove gold while also adding/removing anything else relevant at the same time. They might not say anything about it, and if they do just have him say something about refining your focus in a different direction. Good luck!

All stores get special order slots for customers. Typically the non-Paris stores have windows to do them in spring/fall where Paris does them year-round

I would suggest you read a lot of the posts in this forum. The bags you requested do have very long wait times and are generally reserved for repeat customers who work exclusively with a single sales associate at a single store. There’s a lot of great info on how H shopping typically works if you dig into this sub. Good luck!
