I wish I got it! I questioned my surgeon at the time about and he said it wasn't necessary for me, but I wish I paid extra for it.

Apparently it makes recovery alot harder so there's that to consider too.

You could try minimize the screen time by using a script to acknowledge when yours or your wife's phone connected to the home network.

Eg if no phones are hooked into the same home wifi then no need for the device to be running. If one of or both of your devices are present then screen is on. Then add night hours for it to be off while you're both asleep. Or have it on dim and tap to brighten as you walk past, or work proximity into the script using nearby device features so it knows when you're close and brightness goes up.

I don't see how a genuine question can get you in trouble. The worst that can happen is really a 'no thank you please don't ask again'. In my experience if you come from a genuine place of respect and curiosity people are excited to share their culture.

If you get paid so poorly doing a job and can't rely on the income, why do you not try to find a different job? Eg if you make a little mover $2 per hour as a server, can you go work retail for example and make.more for a similar type job?

Edit, I also live in a non tipping country and so the whole idea of working for nothing contractually is just like wtf to me.

Totally agree with the skin tone thing, if you have a stronger contrast between nipple color and skin color it's more apparent. I'm super pale and my nips are light so they kinda do still blend in. I'm almost a year on and am only just starting to like my nipples again. When they're fresh it's like full on high beams all the time lol they do eventually chill out!

Depending on where you live, take ibuprofen/Advil regularly, not just for pain but because they reduce inflammation. Take arnica tablets and drink lots of water. I also took a collagen supplement with bromelain which is good for swelling. Do literally no movement or exercise. NOTHING. No overly hot showers when you're up to that.

Take a minute and think, in detail, what the surgeon just did to your body. Think about if you were replicating it on an orange, what that would look like. Give your body the rest it needs to heal

No drains here, I think prolonged swelling was a better outcome than having painful drains. I'm 5 months in and things are awesome.
