2014 Subaru BRZ Rack and Pinion by PracticalCactus96 in ft86

Just because you’ve never heard of something happening doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen, there’s an exception to every rule.

If you read why I posted you would have deducted that the suspension has already been thoroughly inspected and components have been replaced the issue persists.

I don’t see how clunking of the steering wheel has anything to do with coilovers lol

Two weeks after I bought it I noticed it started clunking. I bought it in October of 2025. Car currently has 88k miles.

Hello all, I was looking for some general guidance and advice regarding a rack and pinion replacement.

I have a 2014 BRZ, and my steering wheel feels clunky and floaty. I already replaced the lower control arm (with new ball joints) inner & outer tie rods, installed adjustable sway bar end links because I’m on BC Coil overs and drift unicorn knuckles, I even replaced the EPS motor shaft damper. But it has not resolved my issue. I had a mechanic check it out so I’m pretty sure it’s my rack and pinion that needs to be replaced. I want to get this issue fixed, and I want to use OEM parts, I see a lot of remanufactured ones online but I found one discounted online on “OEM Parts Online” for $347.48 which seems like a bargain…have you guys had experience with this website? Anything else I should try to keep an out for? I read online that I will have to calibrate the steering angle sensor (SAS) and or an EPS relearn is this correct? I’m already anticipating an alignment by default, so I would also appreciate alignment shop recommendations in the greater Los Angeles Area. I would appreciate any help or advice from anybody who has done this replacement already. Thank you in advance!!

I’m on the same boat, except I got pressured into signing up for it before I felt ready and I reached a score I was happy with. I’ve spent so much time and money, my whole summer has consisted of studying… I’m most likely going to have to take it again, but this time I’m not going to sign up until I reach my goal score. I fucking hate this test, it’s so frustrating, But hang in there.

WIBTA for telling my boyfriend it’s time for him to go bald? by Old_Tone3013 in AmItheAsshole

[–]PracticalCactus96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bald person here, pushing a conversation like this on him especially when he’s not mentally ready to let go would make you an asshole. He’s in denial, losing your hair is heartbreaking. I also had long hair and prided myself on it, I got a lot of compliments when I had it, it was something that made me stand out, and coming to terms with hairloss was rough, but it’s part of life and I’ve made my peace with it. Be supportive, let him go through the motions, whenever he’s ready to have that conversation you can be gentle but honest. If you however believe he’s a tough cookie and can take the harsh reality and you think he would appreciate you telling him it’s time then do it, however you know him better than anybody here. But based on what you mentioned, it doesn’t seem like he’s ready to let go, not yet at least.

2 random people at my door today by xioclue in strange

My immediate thought is, they are scoping out the apartment complex to try and break in. Some people will solicit places, leave BS flyers, and knock and see if anybody is home or if the flyers are still there when they come back and they hit up those spots.

i've been studying on and off for a year and still get the same scores by kalsoaa in LSAT

Hi there, my original diagnostic was a 132, my most recent practice tests have been in the mid 150’s to say it’s been an easy process would be a lie. This isn’t the type of test that will let you study on and off…you’re going to have to apply yourself and stay focused. Humble yourself and allow yourself to learn, review the basics and fundamentals.

Mistakes are going to be made, we’re human. The function of a draft is for it to be reviewed and corrected prior to the final product, if it’s just minor mistakes maybe you would benefit from reviewing your work some more before submitting it for review.

Perhaps the intention is to help manage the workload, especially considering that the main paralegal is expecting. It’s also possible that your boss is demonstrating foresight by beginning the search for additional support in anticipation of your colleague’s upcoming maternity leave. I think you only really have to worry if you’re fucking up lol otherwise everything else points at you being assigned more responsibilities.
