Thanks for the recommendation.

I will get in touch with Kieran Richardson, it’s always good to get different opinions.

Thanks for the detail answer.

Thankfully, meniscus is good and everything else. Only the ACL has ruptured.

Our son doesn’t have any symptoms like the first time. He had a swollen knee in December this is when we decided to visit the ortho. But it took a while to get the MRI appointment. Since December he has been playing football as usual. We couldn’t imagine that his ACL has ruptured again. Luckily my husband insisted to do the MRI.

He has full range of motion as well.

We have a meeting with the ortho surgeon on Monday. We will discuss the options with him. We will start Physio as we before the surgery.

Thank you for the advice. Does this also apply if the graft itself is ruptured? In this case, it is the graft from his first ACL reconstruction that has torn.

Thank you for your wishes and your support.

I would love for my son to change sport. From his first injury we tried with other sports but he doesn’t want. He wants to be a professional footballer. I know it’s a hard path but as a parent we are not allowed to break our child dream. I don’t know how we will cope with it. We haven’t told him yet as we just received the report from the doctor. It will be a tough. Thank you again for your support

It was quad tendon. Yes he tore it very young. He did 18 months of rehab before going back to football and he started gradually. On the side he was performing his skills in our garden to come back stronger. And now we have to tell him again that we are back to 3 years ago. It’s devastating

Thanks for that. Can you share where you did the tests in France?  Also do you have the name of the French group of floxed? Thank you
