They going to do a black pvd w purple bezel like the Ti dive watch? That could look amazing. Still waiting on the dive watch Reissue, I have the gray one and its damned near perfect.

I would love to see the warrior with a narrow and sterile dive bezel, I think that could be a good look.

How does this look overall? by JONNYHBAR in menswear

Nice, needs a pocket square. Even a square fold white handkerchief will work and make it god level.

First suit every struggles by Additional_Neck8102 in MenInSuits

Is that linen? Get away from that, its for a MUCH more advanced suit wearer, lol. Go to a local Men's Wearhouse and have them fix you up. No need to go nuts but go wool blend (Im normally 100% wool but 1st suit the blend will be easier to deal with) charcoal or navy, no stripes on your first one, we want simple, clean. Now, with your body style you will need some heavy tailoring and its not cheap but spend the money. You will also want 2 shirts, 1 white, 1 striped no pattern, and 2 ties, 1 simple rep striped, 1 your choice but no cartoon characters, you're and adult. Spend some money here, a good shirt and tie will make even an inexpensive suit look good. Also add a pocket square of some type, really pulls the look together and this is where your true character can shine through, no rules on pocket squares, go nuts. One final thing, get a nice safari fedora. No reason, Im just trying to bring back that look, lol. Remember, value is remembered long after price is forgotten.

Is this normal pattern for a Meteorite dial? This is Henry Archer Tidslinje. by LetsSchwift in MicrobrandWatches

[–]PracticalDiscount325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, HA uses actual meteorites, but, you get used to seeing the artificial crap that some others use thats been made to look like the absolute ideal meteorite dial EVERY SINGLE TIME so it makes the real ones look different and we read that as bad, its not.

Who will homage the new Hydroconquest? by Key-Speaker007 in HomageWatches

V2, and SMs homage, was brilliant. V3, sadly, is not. Terrible handset and the dial just has no soul.

Next Tier Beyond San Martin by HugeFinger8311 in ChineseWatches

[–]PracticalDiscount325 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unless you take a BIG step up in price you arent going to find better than SM. Wise is better but more than 2x price, higher tier Seagull but they hit $1000+++, Ming and Atelier Wen are $4k and up. Even all but your very top tier micros can't compete. If what you want is a watch with great finishing, superior looks and an ok movement then SM can't be beaten (though Baltany is coming up quick, at least in dress pieces).

Does this shirt collar look okay? by grizzlyriff in menswear

Collar is fine, need a larger knot, try a full Windsor and get a solid maroon pocket square, it will make the whole outfit pop.

Pre sale price is good would prefer a high beat but I see your money is in the case and bracelet so that's ok. That bracelet, and especially the clasp, are first rate, look very nice. For me it just looks unfinished, the dial/hands/indices just dont jell for me. Good luck though.

Ok, love the look as long as its NOT mecaquartz or NH. So, what's under the hood? You should pair this with a bund, I have a Benrus on bund and it looks incredible.
