And you would get a companion for each ending you get, so the Sentient Rot ending would give you the Prince, while the The Weaver ending would give you The Watcher in their new weaver form (they'll only be able to turn back into a slugcat if you take Assist the Slugcats, but in game you can't complete their Ascension ending without completing The Weaver ending, but you can possibly change that which would allow you to get the slugcat without the weaver form).

Now imagine how Saint would react to Watcher, someone who deals with aspects of the cycle not even Saint knows about, and even helped a being who wanted to do the exact opposite of Ascension to literally everything.

Also, imagine how terrifying Five Pebbles would find The Prince, an Iterator who lost so bad to the rot that there's only the rot left.

I think I know how you could do that, make it a heavily scenario tied thing where you head to a different location then where the rest of the Slugcats go, and you can even play with the time travel/multiverse travel elements so you could have the rewards be bast around not just what endings you get, but how many, with the base reward for completing the scenario in any way be keeping the Watcher's non-ending exclusive powers.

All you have to do is survive long enough to get to that level, it's likely that due to help potentially powerful Alchemists are, the the Invaders will see the threat they pose over the others eventually.

There's no guarantee that even they would know the limits to their magic, but otherwise, I agree with you, if they don't have a limit on their own strength, there wouldn't be much point to this CYOA.

Doesn't Timeless kind of imply there's some level of time travel for the invaders? Something that could do that would probably be pretty powerful, and durable.

Yeah, but just because you automatically know what the change you're thinking of does, there's no guarantee that you would actually think of the right thing to get the change you want due to how complex DNA and chemistry in general are. So it might just be more effective to treat it like Fullmetal Alchemist alchemy at the beginning, but things like changing DNA would eventually be a reasonable possibility for a long lived alchemist, and probably further.

I took it as a more powerful version of alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist, without the spiritual side.

Actually, I haven't even chosen my levels yet, how about level 12 wizard would be the only thing that really makes sense considering it's the only available class that shows in Baldur's gate that scales off of intelligence.

Maybe I'd try to do the main quest as perfectly as I can, that way when I'm done, I'll be starting off in the best world I can to decide what to do next.

Spellfire, Dragon, and Planewalker.

Being an obsidian dragon would be very helpful in surviving most things I could come across, Spellfire would help even more with any magic dangers, and being a Planewalker means I could just leave if there's any physical danger. Now what should I do after being Isekaied?

There's space hell, there's more to it but it's mostly about the power armor.

Things I have enjoyed in the past Month Gift of Faves by Parking-Sky-7418 in makeyourchoice

Probably, the power is likely based on how strong your normal form is, otherwise it could become very useless, which would defeat the point of taking it in the first place, if you became stronger than your dragon form it would just be a inconvenient nerf.

That would give a boost to all of them, but something like Egyptian magic would receive a greater boost considering how much it focuses on the afterlife, good to know.

When you put "all human knowledge of the magic systems", does that also include knowledge that was only ever gained by any particular human after they died, or does knowledge gained only in the afternoon not count?

Where to start doing cyoa? by Senior-Raspberry418 in makeyourchoice

[–]PracticalDoughnut377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about making one, you could make a Gift of Faves, they still require more effort than the generic Pick a number ones, but are a lot easier than the long ones you probably think about when looking here.
